Bunch of c*cks. I felt so sad last night at what seems to be happening to our country on a regular basis now. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Don't say I'm not persistent. Found the bugger. http://www.superbikefreaks.com/leathers-part-2/

Sodding Facebook app. So won't be in any history. I'll try and remember a line from the article and search for that in Google. Their bots must have picked it up. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

I think the phrase is f*ck that then. Roads it is. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

I just realised the odd wear was about the roads not the powers. I clearly need sleep Was aware of the roads wearing funny. No one tried powers at all? It's mostly fair weather riding so I don't see the need to go the extra to get the sipes, but if the powers will be a pile of crap in the wet or damp then I'd spend the extra. Bloody hell the guy that went off to the right took a hell of a hit. Hope they all heal soon. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Is it all bikes though or certain types? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

I read a great article the other day about the various brands. Dainese in particular surprised me. I need to find it and post it here. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk A fair few years back one of the mags did a test of leathers and hein gericke's £300 leathers came out better than alpinestars £1800 leathers Can't find the bloody article, it popped up at random on Facebook I think Suffice to say I do remember the article saying Dainese road leathers have only started being certified and I believe the Alpinestars didn't double or triple stitch key areas meaning potential suit burst.

How do they wear funny out of interest?

Not doing trackdays atm. Mostly A roads round Somerset, Wiltshire and Devon. Plenty of curves. I don't sit miles below the limit, would be a lie to say I don't try and push it but I am certainly not up to the speed that some people do hooning it around. Sport touring is probably the area to look at tbh. I would like it to have grip towards the edges of the tyre but I would like some life in the things too. If the Power 3 is that soft then it would probably be a no go, not sure what milage you get compared to a Road 3 or 4.

I like RST kit but my current kit list is as follows: Helmet: Shark Speed-R (2 of them). Trying to get an allowance to buy a Shark Spartan Guintoli. Seems unlikely (too many helmets) Leathers: Furygan. Cannot rate them highly enough. Water resistant but good enough to survive a storm deluge. I believe all my seams are double or triple stitched. Seriously comfy and well fitting. Dry weather Boots: Alpinestar S-MX Plus. Not bad, comfier than the old ones I used to had and less bulky. Gloves: Knox and Furygan in the dry. Knox are probably better in how they secure with their boa system. Furygan tether my little finger to the finger next to it so you don't bend it back in a crash. Textiles: RST and they are great in winter for warmth. Wet weather Boots. RST trachtech Evo WP. They certainly keep the rain out. Wet weather gloves: Believe they are Richa. Too short to go over the RST jacket. Bit of a pain tbh.

I think I am going to take the plunge and ditch my Bridgestones for Michelin. Frankly they keep giving me unpredictable grip, including a front letting go at 20mph on a large roundabout on the Bristol ring road after I had been riding for an hour and a half. Dry as you like and nothing on the road, just what these tyre's have done to me, and the wet is nerve wracking. I'm debating the Michelin Power 3 and the Pilot Road 4. Michelin marketing claims the Power 3 will give decent wet grip from the compound. Given I don't intend to ride when wet (yet seems to rain each time I get on the bike)I'm inclined to go with that over the Road 4. However has anyone tested one in the wet and can claim otherwise? Any tyre's worth looking at from Dunlop, Metzler or Avon. Bike is a GSX-R 750 L5 for those unaware

I have 2 jackets I need to shift. One is an old RST jacket. Blue, thermal liner and would keep the water out ATM in light stuff, needs a retreat to improve it for the heavier stuff though. Size L Other is a Frank turner ladies jacket, grey, seems in decent nick. Size LS (I assume this means ladies small). Can do some pics if people need them. £20 each plus shipping costs. Obviously if you want to collect from me then just £20 Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

I don't do stress Work is great, and I have not drunk alcohol since I was about 25. I can see where your going wrong then.... You have seemed more snappy and gone a bit overboard in responses to people who genuinely didn't understand a point and needed it phrased a little differently to make it click. I'm very snappy and intolerant and I am 30. For me it kicked in with an ex making false accusations and making my life a misery for 6 months. And this was 6 years ago it happened and I still trust about 3 or 4 people only. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Nah, stopped after 90, he came shooting across the front of me over other side of the mini roundabout, I did the second 90 and followed him back down the road. He looked sheepish for all of 1/2 a second, he knew I'd saved us both a nasty smash, but then the attitude kicked back in and he went back to his gangsta rap and dont give a shit mode, innit. but you were planning on doing 360 if you were going to go all the way round.. 180 is straight on You only negotiate 180 of the roundabout though. Trail braking. Clipping kerbs. Just a couple of guesses. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk One was clipping a kerb and it cost me a new bike Never fell off from trail braking. Highsided in the wet but that was to much throttle nothing to do with leaning a bike. I did scrape the endcan on the track at cadwell the other day extreme lows The rest of the crashes i just run out of skill. Ambition outweighed your talent? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
