I have always found S**t to be quite slippery, especially where tyres are concerned.

As already said Sportsbikeshop are resellers. Talk to them, they are very professional and friendly.

I have used Sportsbike shop on many occasions and can't recommend them highly enough, their customer service is second to none. However even the best of the best can't get it right 100% of the time.

If any part of the bike crosses the solid white lines including panniers, it's an offence. Exceptions accepted

Check the tank breather pipe, if it's blocked it causes a vacuum as the tank empties and starves the engine of petrol.

IAM Surety are based in Ireland and premiums are high to start with, they have quoted me several time and have never been able to compete with price of other insurers such as Bennetts and Bikesure. -

Some companies recognise an advanced riding qualification but I've never seen any significant reduction in premiums. -

Would make me feel better I understand that it would make you feel better but that single gesture could easily escalate things into a more dangerous situation if the car driver decides to throw caution to the wind and ram your bike. Road rage is best avoided.

I should have said, I won't cross solid white lines illegally, I am fully aware that there are certain conditions when crossing solid white lines is permissible.

Whilst I am not risk averse, there are a couple of things I won't do, cross solid white lines and ride the wrong side of bollards.

Non of the advanced riders in our group would give such dodgy advice. Police riders will go on the wrong side of a bollard if it's safe to do so, but it's not for mere mortals like us.

The blue arrows on the bollard tell you all you need to know. You must stay the right sight of the road and pass to the left.

Superbike Factory is in Macclesfield. Their bikes have always looked unloved to me when I have been there.
