  10. Was thinking warranty but thats out the window Very unlikely to be wear after 500k's. So it's back to care on shifting, my guess is that after a week you are now being a little less positive (read careful) over your gear shifting.

  12. False neutral, common problem on suzuki's in the past (don't know about now). Just take more care on that gear change to ensure you have a positive gear. is this a new bike or recently bought from dealer ?
  13. Had the same issue with the Divvi last year. found a break in the live feed for the lights. Seems the brake uses different a feed.
  14. And for those who believe you will be welcome, a minute from the towns council meeting 22-9-11 http://www.woottonbassett.gov.uk/wp-con ... 9_2011.pdf The organisers of the Mother’s Day Ride of Respect are looking to organise a repeat for next March. Before doing so, they are approaching the Town Council to see if this would be welcomed or whether the town would prefer for the ride to go to another location, given that repatriations no longer pass through the town. The Mayor would appreciate a steer on this before he replies to the organisation. Members felt that it would no longer be appropriate to stage the Ride of Respect in Wootton Bassett, given that repatriations have moved from RAF Lyneham to RAF Brize Norton. Wootton Bassett is no longer involved in repatriations, and the town is seeking to look to the future. It would be more appropriate for the bikers to show their appreciation at the new memorial in Oxfordshire. The Mayor thanked the Council for their input and steer on this matter.

  17. If it is the one in Princetown, then yes to free showers but it doesn't say about open fires, few do allow these days, elf 'n safety and damage to the ground. update Having done a refined search to include Public Houses and campfires there are none and only 13 in South Devon that do (fires that is). Of course that is only the one guide.

  21. A few points, 1. Join a bike club (there are plenty to choose from) 2. lots of rallies/events take place in the South West 3. get to a few of them. 4. be prepared to work hard and not participate, at any event you organise. If you join a club, become active help out with any events and learn from them, that is the best way to learn. Oh and be ready to become consumed by the whole thing. You can't expect others to sit back at finish point at your event while you go off and enjoy yourself. All that said I would suggest a Poker Run, go on at least one before you try your own though.
  22. They are, most things on bikes not new, in 1972 the 850 Guzzi had them as standard, having said that the oil filter was an internal mesh filter.
