  1. There is a picture on the Denali web site that shows a black cable onto the circuit band between the terminal blocks. There are also comments which complain of the black cable coming adrift from the circuit board. So maybe it’s a common fault. https://denalielectronics.com/products/elc-00-30000 4th picture
  2. Looking at this https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1466532/Denali-Powerhub2.html?page=2#manual I would say the Black wire goes to a point on the ground hub, or the circuit board. The relay only needs a Red live and an ignition switched wire. The relay negative would go to the ground bus hub. Haven’t got the power hub but looking at the instruction the above would make sense.

    Old SatNav

Using that it’s a wonder I ever arrived at all. Swapped it between the car and bike for a while, when on the bike it was wrapped in a plastic bag. Then I saved up and bought a proper bike one.

    Old SatNav

Found an old SatNav a few days ago. Cleaned it up and got it working. From memory it cost about £90 12/13 years ago. Entering the post codes was via a thumb wheel and it an age To do. Tiny screen as well. About 55mm across corners.
  10. What. There’s a 50 limit!
  11. We’re not that far from each there Bob, and the good runs are to the South of us. One day we may run into each other. Not literally of course. I wonder if the Touchdown Cafe will survive? You will probably spot me when I've had to stop and get off to push the Harley around a corner . You have been reading to many posts on this forum. Mind you today due to the gusting wind, I went round several corners as though they were a thrupenny bit.
  12. Go for the Bandit, but only if it’s the 1250.

    Newbie

    Hi and welcome
  15. Nice 100+ mile run along the Fosse, taking in Stowe on the Wold, Burford, Chipping Norton, Banbury, Southam and then home. Was a bit windy, especially on the ridges. Glad I wasn’t on a small light bike.
  16. Belated birthday wishes. Glad you had a good day.
  17. Should stay on. My GPX battery had that and the tube went into a catch pot that exited just above the road surface .
  18. The BMA did update their guide lines on issuing death certs so that the doctor issuing it can put Covid on the DC if it is suspected. It does not need to have a positive test. “ In those cases where the doctor is confident on medical grounds that a particular cause of death is likely then that should be entered on the MCCD. COVID-19 is an acceptable direct or underlying cause of death for the purposes of completing the MCCD, even without the results of a positive test, and it is important that likely COVID-19 deaths are reported as such via the registrar.” Extract from BMA guide.
  19. Some bike also have adjustable seat heights. My GSF does and I have it on the highest setting to give less knee bend. The down side is more stretch to the road when stopped, but that does not cause me any problems. Adjustable pegs are available but can reduce cornering clearance. If you did go that route don’t forget the rear brake and gear shift positions will probably need to be adjusted.
