1. Epoxy resin may work better than super glue.
2. Hi oldgrump. No didn’t go to Dom’s. It’s not open on Mondays. Last year planned to go there, one web site said open but when we got there it was closed. Each time we have gone that way since it’s not been open. And today the OK diner was closed for remedial work following a flooding. Luckily I had taken a flask.
3. Good ride out today. Good weather only problem was other traffic, it was busy. Didn’t find any abandoned railway stations or villages. But there was plenty of green.
4. Hoggs And me.

6. Check the wires to the start button. Maybe broken or disconnected.
7. S-Westerly Problem with the fastest route is that SatNav allocates the NSL to all roads regardless of their suitability. So your narrow road with grass down the middle maybe a 60mph road and is calculated as such. I’ve had that happen to me with Garmin.
8. Used to be on here, but not been on for several years now.
9. We used to play Descent during lunch at work on the networked PC’s. Said we were testing and monitoring the lag on the network.
10. First computer I worked with was a NASCOM at work and a Spectrum ZX80. Both ran a form of basic and I took a ZX80 program for calculating cable sizes and conduit and trunking capacities then rewrote it to run on the NASCOM. We used that in the office for ages. I then added programs to do light calculations for spraybooths etc. All in basic. Over time these programs were upgraded to run on newer machines before ending up on spreadsheets. Those were the days. Now you pay a small fortune for this type of pragmatism to run on Windows.
11. Gutted for you. Best of luck.
12. It’s happening everywhere.
13. +1 for the Givi solution. Got mine as a retirement present from work. Had an Aldi magnetic one on my last bike. No trouble with the magnets.
14. So remove dust cap faff around to fit pressure gauge. Pressure ok. Refit dust cap. Ride. As opposed to Get on and move bike. Check pressure. Pressure ok. Ride. No idea on time as i always do my PRI's a couple of hours beforehand so i am all ready and set to ride when the time comes Could have a slow puncture and lost Pressure between checking and riding.
15. Well done Roxyy amazing.
16. You could. on previous bike I thought pressure was good enough and tyres lasted 3k miles instead of usual 7k. Lesson learnt, always check the pressure to make the most of your tyres. Not to mention the safety side of it Checking tyre pressures should all be done as part of your pre ride inspection anyway So remove dust cap faff around to fit pressure gauge. Pressure ok. Refit dust cap. Ride. As opposed to Get on and move bike. Check pressure. Pressure ok. Ride.
17. I have a Shoei GT air and wear glasses. No problems.
18. It’s now Sunday. Any news gymwitch .
19. A friend of mine races 1 metre class rc yachts. Tried his many times after the races have finished. It is not easy. I’m fine on a relatively clear water but no way I could race them.
20. I remember going there when I was much much younger.
21. Just seen this. That’s a b****r. Glad you are reasonably OK. Hope the ankle recovers soon.
22. Disappointed that the Fire boat doesn’t spray water!! Mickly all the bits have now arrived so spent far too many hours getting the fire monitors working.
