5. My first satnav for the car had a one inch screen. The unit cost £90 in 2003 ish all inputs were via a scroll wheel. When I updated the car unit I fixed this on to the bike, it was hopeless trying to see the screen while travelling especially on rough roads.
6. I use this fitted on the fairing. APEMAN Underwater Action Camera 4K Wi-Fi Action Cam 20MP Waterproof 30M 2.0 Inch LCD Screen 170 Wide-Angle Bought from amazon. There are several listed at the moment. I cut the housing so technically no longer waterproof to fit a usb lead from the ignition. The camera comes on and off with ignition. So no messing with replacing batteries. The usb lead is a fairly tight fit so no problems with riding in the rain.

8. Sending me down wonderful roads with loads of grit and other nasties in the middle of the "road". ">
9. Run out to Silverstone circuit.
10. Haha, I do have a photography website but the sales bit is more wishful thinking than an actual shop, Stu. I didn’t even consider that it might have breached any rules, but if It has then of course I’ll immediately remove the link from my sig. Put a link on your site to TMBF then charge Stu for advertlearningtofly (Some really good images there)
11. That’s so much bad luck. For you. I have to do what you did virtually every time I turn into my road.
12. Who me? Hmm... not sure to be honest - I could when I was training regularly, but that was well over 10 years ago now. I suspect the muscle to weight (i.e. cake) ratio has changed somewhat since then! I can put a Rowntrees Fruit Pastille in my mouth without chewing it though, if that counts for anything... But can you eat a sugared doughnut without liking your lips?
13. I think he means the secondary butterflies in the inlet tract. I read somewhere that removing them improves the midrange but screws the environmental compliance. nope .. the secondary flies are there to stop peeps killing themselves in the lower revs and gears from the set off ..that is rear wheel spin and puttin the bike down the road ... The ECU flash sorts out the fueling .. the closed loop included .. below 3000 - 4000 revs .. there are no gains anywhere else .. but the bike becomes a lot more responsive to the throttle openings .. .. however if you want a smooth operation then you must be smooth with the throttle operation .. frankly your better off with a dedicated forum as it's clear that nobody here has any experience of this issue ....lots and lots about it here and where to go to have it sorted http://www.zx14r.co.uk/phpBB3/ PS.. doing what i said resolved the exact same issue with my 2008 .. https://www.zxforums.com/forums/zx-14-forum/7500-flies-out-picture-guide.html

16. Gin check out the list of attendees in the retail zone tab and see if ther3 is anyone you specifically want to look at for bike gear.
17. How did all this get into a thread about me buying a Harley ? I don't particularly mind but it's rather confusing. Makes a change from biscuits
18. I’m with Tango. I went for many years as part of the Kwaks Riders club, about 8-10 years ago. Then the trade stands were great with many big names. Infinity, M&P, bikers world. Then went last year and thought the trade stands were rubbish. No big names. Lots of stuff seemed to be bought in for the show as everyone was selling the same items. The rest of the show was fine. But not so good on the gear front.
19. CMC at Cannock and CMC at Coleshill. Both have lots of bikes but don’t know what they are like to deal with.
20. I too am older and have bolloxed finances! We should start a club! I'm 59 in a week or two and could easily bollox my finances with that Diavel at £20k Birthday press to yourself

Horny !

I've got mine running off a relay if that helps What does the relay do ??? And how do you fit it ..As the horn we fitted it was just longer cable and change the braket to fit the new horn but then just.clipped it on .. . Use the relay to switch the horn. Some after market horns take more amps than the factory unit and may burn out the horn switch. Also if the cable is not rated fully for the new horn/s then there can be a higher volt drop in the cable so the horn does not work at the full rating. So fit the relay where the old horn was so the horn switch operates the relay and rn a cable from the battery to the relay and then from the relay raptors the horn. HTH
22. All the above And You will use more fuel.
23. This from here The Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989 Lamps to show a steady light 13.—(1) Save as provided in paragraph (2), no vehicle shall be fitted with a lamp which automatically emits a flashing light. (2) Paragraph (1) does not apply in respect of– (a)a direction indicator; (b)a headlamp fitted to an emergency vehicle; ©a warning beacon or special warning lamp; (d)a lamp or illuminated sign fitted to a vehicle used for police purposes; (e)a green warning lamp used as an anti-lock brake indicator; or (f)lamps forming part of a traffic sign. As Mississippi Bullfrog says there is a grey area regarding flickering / modulated lights. IMO flickering small LED lights are ok but flickering or flashing headlamps / driving lights not ok.
24. That's great
