There's a few threads about this if you have a rummage ... the short answer is its a lot easier to do on centres bike. is there a specific reason you don't wanna do it on theirs?

Do you know anyone who drives who will let you be a "passenger driver"? like coming to junctions saying who has right of way etc I should probably reiterate you should find a good driver lol

My insurers (bennetts) define garage as brick built, but maybe if you called one you might get some allowance as extra security or something? as a fun side story, my friend lived in Westminster in an apartment block that had a private underground car park with gated entrance, CCTV and 24 hr security and his insurance company said as other people had access to it they classed it as street parking and quoted him NINETEEN THOUSAND POUNDS for his bike (brand new Kwak Z1000) also good luck with mod2! remember your life savers and even if you think you've messed up keep going! often it's not as bad as you think!!

I learnt to ride in London so you kinda end up filtering a lot, but mainly only if traffic was stationary (which was often) and yeah probs 25ish... used to tuck back into the traffic to let the nutters come past at 50. Now I live in the country we don't have traffic so I don't need to but as above key point is do what you feel safe about
