  4. Top tip: if approaching the roundabout on the test wait for a gap you can get out in but not the examiner Zoom around as quickly as possible so he can't see you. Win!
  5. hello Tom! I think a lot of people who say mod2 is easier are coming from driving backgrounds and do know how roads "work". Your instructor really should have spent some more time with you about how junctions and give ways work - it is easy to navigate a new junction if you've been driving for 15 years because you can draw on your experience of a hundred similar ones but very difficult when having to try and remember how to ride a bike AND how bloody junctions work If you do have a willing friend who can drive maybe get them to drive you around some junctions and roundabouts and you just focus on what lane and who gets priority without the distraction of riding a bike too Good luck

  15. Tell him he'll have to wait a lot longer if you end up in a hedge.... riding outside your comfort zone isn't something anyone should be pressured into doing. If he's that much of a whiner pick a cafe to meet up in and he can get the brews in whilst he waits
  16. Racing is in their blood, they know the risk but can't ignore the pull of the race. It's super sad there's another Dunlop in the racetrack in the sky though

  19. The risk of nervous inexperienced riders slamming on the rear and locking up is probably why it's advised against using too much which probably is an easy slide into not using I managed to lock up my rear the other day and left a lovely 6' black line in the road. Looked pretty impressive apparently.... Probably would have failed the mod 1 for it though.
  20. I had money on Rossi and Dovi getting podiums so was gutted
  21. The urge to block you from here with no explanation for the lulz was quite high....
  22. Oh this lot will argue over the colour of an orange, I wouldn't worry about it
  23. At the risk of giving you a notification for something you give 0 f'ks about it was theoretically as both them and Belgium were through to the next round but whoever lost would get an "easier" team in the next round. But as we suck we'll just get knocked out by Colombia rather than Japan.
