Get into the habit when riding around to ask yourself on every road "what's the speed limit on this road" I had issues missing them on my training so the instructor told me to do this. When forced to look you will see them... also noticed a few that I rode past every day - in plain sight - that id never seen before... Also no points for "I think it's 30..."

Rae I used to use my phone as my satnav with much "whatever it's as good as a dedicated satnav" but since getting an actual satnav (Garmin zumo something or the other) I'm converted! Seems more instinctive, easier to use with gloves. And integrated docking charge station which is nice! But I did use my phone for over a year with no issues until the gps epically failed on it

You can pick up a decent second hand Garmin or TomTom for under 150 quid on eBay and it shows you actually useful things like which exit to take at a roundabout or where fuel stations are... or you know things like roads which are useful when on a motorbike.

Nomination the Red driving instructor who obviously said to the guy that had never driven before HEY LET'S GO ON A 60MPH COUNTRY ROAD! epic tailback and a shed of double whites so took me ages to overtake the queue of 15 cars on the small bits of broken lines. Massive shout out to the car drivers stuck behind him who made it nice and easy for me to get past. I am not dissing learners. I'm dissing dickhead instructors who take people out who aren't confident enough yet to handle country roads. Doing 35 on a 60 is dangerous and you're a dick for putting your student in that situation

The rear will be flashing quicker due to the front not working less resistance in the system more power to the rear faster flashing. I'm not sure about why the front isn't working if you've replaced the bulb... relay maybe?
