  5. You clicked on a six link!?!? http://www.military-medals.co.uk/british-medals-orders-and-decorations/glasgow_bravery_silver_mcfarlane/IMG_2390.JPG
  6. Word up Sam. sounds like you may have developed the dreaded *dun dun dun* yipps! you know you can do it but your brain is convinced you can't to the point it's sabotaging you. sadly shouting at your brain never helps. luckily all the stuff Sleepy posted will. also remember there's no time limit on the mod 1. before you do the maneuver take a few big deep breaths. if you have developed an inverse reaction to the u turn your body will probably start producing adrenaline trying to be helpful. this is not helpful. deep breaths will clear this out your system. so deep breaths. mirrors check mirrors check then as Sleepy said head up and find that exit point. we all look forward to your post telling us you've nailed it
  7. Totally agree there with you Although neither is as good as the zx6r well you talk sense
  8. Well we all have those moments! Glad you got it sorted (and it was a free fix! best of all the fixes!)
  9. I have a similar roundabout on my way home. Three lanes, just randomly pick one them wildly swerve in front of two lanes of traffic when you realise that for some CRAZY reason you can't turn left from the right hand lane. MADNESS
  10. I'm kinda sad that this doesn't even surprise me
  11. Hey Dave! I found it to be "fast but manageable" under 8000, but agreed it does get insane over 10000 Personally I think they are great fun to ride, can throw them into corners, pretty comfy position. But bikes, like so much in life, are mainly personal preference so I guess that's why we always tell people to try them if they can
  12. I really like it
  13. wot hooner said
  14. ooh interesting reading. hopefully vinales can stay in the top few and mix it up a bit. impressive from all the new moto2 graduates as well
  15. sounds like scaremongering from the AA if you ask me. *puts on tinfoil hat* I think a bit is fine.. any more than a bit is bad.
  16. I actually filled my diesel up from empty with Unleaded. Not it was it £70 down the drain (not literally) but i had to drive it home. Not sure how but it choked and stuttered there. Ended up having to drop the tank off the bottom. Well if you're going to put the wrong fuel in you want to put unleaded in a diesel and not the other way round! Fun fact -the freezing point of diesel is quite low and people in hardcore cold areas had to mix in a bit of unleaded to stop it freezing in the tank.
  17. Wow, I had to scroll a reeaaalllllly long way down to find Stu Top stuff everyone involved Really enjoyed it, looking forward to next year as I'm not going to be able to get any more free time for them this year!
  18. well it went a bit downhill in the last few races for me but enjoyed it! think I've got a better tactic for next year and beat Mr W so woo!
  19. The comments are HILARIOUS
  20. that's so unlike this place to go off topic
  21. Well that guy is a massive dickhead. Although was probably hoping you would fail to mess up your schools pass rate so you socked it to him good with a zero minor pass I wonder if it's a similar reason to when people with stammers sing they generally don't stutter? The brain is a weird place! Congrats on the pass, good luck for Mod 2

  23. Yes
  24. (on an F1 tangent, my heart did go out to Grojean!) Yeah Binder just showing how epic he is on that bike. Hope he won't have the same issues a lot of Moto3 guys had when going to 2 and just be cruising around mid field.
