  1. they will sell second hand ... as a second bike ... the only question is at what price ... as you said the price is fallin.. I said limited off road capabilities .. limited by the size of the thing .. I found it a handful... . and all the plastic to break. its tryin to be too many things .. and not quite made it ... think I`ll keep my Cb1000 and keep a lookout for a 250 off road machine...
  2. probably don`t need any jpg.s .. plenty out there on the net.com of the bike itself already .. 7 & 8 are just that .. the rest take in some scenery .. which to me is probably some what more interesting .. well possibly to some .. think .. most suitable as an urban traffic machine .. limited off road capabilities ...its not a DRZ400 .. but more than most would ever require .. coped well with the "test track" .. the typical farmers access road & bit of flat dirt field ridin thrown in for good measure.... on the road its not as quick and takes a bit of windin up to speed .. frankly its not the sort of bike for flyin round fast roads .. capable enough .. but not a sports bike.. think 2 up with luggage would be a struggle .. particularly over a serious .. bum brothers Charlie and Ewan adventure .. but a short-hop.. one - up .. it would be fine ... its second bike material for when you just want to bimble around or headin to a rally site that's a sodden field.. The DCT is not worth the extra .. but if its cheaper than a manual or they chuck in some luggage then I would seriously think about it.. price / money dependant ... they will sell better second hand I think..
  3. would depend on money / price .. got another 1 GB.. but I slimmed it down .. don`t want to overload peeps brains.. anyway plenty "no licences" that this will be the closest they get to one ..
  4. Newcastle Motorcycles had a test ride event at Hartside .. booked me slot and off I went.. DCT.. bit weird .. probably most useful off road .. but will lend itself for urban traffic use too.. the S mode worked well enough .. the D mode was hangin onto the gears too long.. its fast enough for road use but takes a little windin up to speed.. but it is an off road type... The up-right ridin position gives an excellent view .. and brakes are more than adequate anyway jpg.s lots of jpg.s
  5. did you check to see which way round the seals go ..?
  6. and who would you buy the insurance off .. having a licence .. even bein added to an existin policy .. is a requirement .. yeah .. go to a trainin provider ...
  7. yes.. it bent the sub frame ... CBR600f, 45l givi box, yes.. the rack fractured across the main bracing... YZF R1 .. (not a top box.. but a textile bag ... 5kg inc. contents.) buy the proper kit ... because it was hilarious watchin a givi box bouncing down the road .. scatterin all his holiday clothes all over the road ... and I did warn him.
  8. Same from ijmuden ... usually takes 9 hours .. but don't use german autobahns on a sunday as thats when they dig them up.

  12. Van Day ... so set off at 6am for the 119 mile drive .. used the motorway so had to pay a small toll 6 euros each way.. still took 3 hours.. parked the Van at https://goo.gl/maps/mZy2yvZeFyn 9 euros for 24hours .. i paid camper rate it was 3 euros more than a car.. bought an all day ticket for the water bus .. 20 euros and set off.. Venice was hot 40 deg. Celsius that day and full of tourists .. there was a long queue for just about every thing.. we had 4 hours so just got a glimps of the place really .. we ate near the bus stop... 11 euros for chicken and chips 4.5 euros for a coffee.... anyway here are some randome jpg.s of the day. 0ops..some are their on it side as i turned the camera over.
