  1. Well I don't think you're supposed to go do 21 miles (or any in the eyes of the law!) on your own without a CBT, but at least you'll nail it now!
  2. Are these compatible with the cases from the website linked in the other thread?
  3. I'm doing Roughleys Egg run, setting off from Tesco at Portwood. http://www.roughleysbikeshow.com/egg-run-2017
  4. Bloody hell didn't realise how big an R6 was.
  5. Don't go to any school that requires you to pay a very large sum, they're potentially crap and you won't get any money back if you want to change schools. My school took a deposit for each session and the rest was paid on the day. The course was £700 in total and was paid in instalments of around £130 depending on test fees. I think a lot of schools with do it this way and I'd avoid any that want say £300-400 before you even start your training.
  6. I haven't done many fork oil changes*, however I've heard you can just drill a hole in the bottom of the fork and one in the top. The bottom will drain the oil as you would expect, you can then plug this with some chemical metal. Then just funnel in your new oil and do the same. Works a charm. *infact i've never done one
  7. When I got my lad to help me wash my bike he just poured the water on himself and had to go inside after 2 minutes to get sorted
  8. Is your real wheel aligned with the front? I had a bit of this on my 125 and that's all it ended up being.
  9. DAS is a good idea, the bikes are easier to ride and more stable than 125s. Also you'll be able to get your confidence up even more by having the lessons along the way .
  10. My uncle has a VW camper that he's stuck a Subaru engine in, not sure on people sitting in the back though. It's probably ok if it has belts. I'll ask him next time I see him.
  11. 'The Whea Sheaf' http://i.imgur.com/hLfrrL2.jpg
  12. Oh yeah, I never thought he was making an attempt to steal his keys for any other reason than to just ride off and chuck them somewhere to annoy the rider.
  13. No matter how much of a pratt the rider is, stealing his keys is a bigger twat act.
  14. I'll need to get a picture of mine but there's no room for the handle bar adapter, so it'll have to be a stem type. However there's either a cap on my nut, or it's solid haven't had a proper look.
  15. That's good then mate, with it being 2 storey I thought you may have had to get it.
  16. After watching the worlds fastest indian recently, I now imagine Mr Fro as the modern day Burt Munro . Quality stuff this mate, really interesting! The owner of the garage I used recently had a baby blade that he'd turbo'd, he stuck an intercooler in the tail I wasn't really sure how that works . Will yours need an intercooler, if so where's that going?
  17. Needed an extra whack for the bike ending up on it's side.
  18. Looks good that mate, did you need planning permission for it?
  19. The two videos of him building it before are well worth a watch too! Engine from a CBR600 F4i
  20. Hi, You need a provisional before you can do your CBT, your full car licence acts as a provisional and you can ride your 125 with L plates on this. You CBT expires after 2 years, but your provisional never expires on your car licence.
  21. Who doesn't like entering tunnels, and making loud rasping noises?
  22. I'll give you 50p if you deliver it.
  23. It looks good and the full setup for £50 isn't bad at all, does it have room for a headphone jack? So I could listen to directions.
  24. Very nice indeed mate! Is she totally standard? Any mods planned, new cans etc?
  25. You'll need a mount as well mate. They have a 3 pronged mounting system that then connects to a ball head. If you work out where you want to mount the phone, I'll send you links to what you need. That comes with a handle bar quick release mount , however I need to have a look at my bars and make sure I've got room for that, if not I'll go down the route you mentioned with the ball connector. Do they feel secure those types?
