1. More to the point if you found an old pack of bourbons that are 6 months out of date could you go back in time then eat them?
2. And there was me thinking Six30 was the forum weirdo

Yeah will see what other osteopaths I can find round here, only thing that really helps is hot water bottle laying on that for an hour loosens back up nicely, have got a tens machine as get a dodgy back now and then anyway but think I left it in work learningtofly yeah afraid so, there is a thread on here about the injury somewhere, basics are went over bars and face planted tarmac, then bike landed on my leg, open fracture of tibia and fibula

goat I'm mixed opinion tbh, at end of day most drugs are based off a herbal variant and there's no doubt certain herbal substances have an effect on the body (just look at most illegal substances ) but at same time know it attracts a lot of quackery (women sticking crystals inside themselves springs to mind) Slowlycatchymonkey used to see an osteopath but need to find a new one as have private medical insurance but they've said they won't honor anymore from old osteopath as they weren't happy with their licence. Because tibia was nailed I've never been in a cast or similar and they've been encouraging use of the leg since I was discharged... But I am certainly feeling like an old codger

Just to give a bit of a update on my never ending recovery... Was at hospital last week for check up and my x-ray looked no better than one back in May bones still separated very little regrowth They (registrar) are blaming it on vaping, seem to be a lot of mixed opinions on vaping effects on bone healing. My surgeon told me it was ok and wouldn't effect it and read a few reports from surgeons advising people to switch from cigarettes to vaping to aid recovery. But just as many reports from other surgeons saying that it's just as detrimental as smoking. Anyway their advice... Come back in 6 weeks and we will see how it's doing (I'm sure there will be loads of difference compared to previous 6 months ) To top it off my back has got really bad now as well, at first I just put it down to increase in stress on that side (opposite to injured side) but getting unbearable now and feeling more nerve related as it's radiating down leg into foot (when it gets really bad my little toe and 2 next to it feel like they are frozen). So been a frustrated last few days, plus cold weather coming in now so expecting pain to start shooting up, know from previous breaks I end up being a human weather detector
7. Rich tea are the understated biscuit, never buy them but occasionally get one with a coffee and remember they're alright... Rather then over a custard cream. Malted milk should be banned though, horrible things!
8. Coffee flavored?! Do like a chocolate hobnob... But don't like non chocolate variety. Personally I'd rather have the bourbons and risk dalek attack.
9. That was my thought, can harness dimension shifting technology, time and space travel, but skimps on the biscuits
10. Something like that, on positive note at least I'm not a horse
11. https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Bt-1-2x50ml-Combustion-Leak-Tester-Kit-Co2-Fluid-Head-Gasket-Test-Block-Car-14e/527962631 Cheap and quick tester, put liquid in and then the bung in place of radiator or expansion tank cap and run bike, if liquid changes colour you've got combustion gas in coolant. Sounds to me like that is cause too, combustion gas which by nature is hot would heat coolant up quickly so would see ridiculous temperatures.
12. I bet. How is the leg mate? Will post a proper update some point but pee'd off with it atm, last x-ray didn't look much better than one taken back in May
13. Sounds like the effort I have to put in climbing stairs now
14. Granted, they learn all the highway code and start driving, soon the rural roads are packed with foxes and badgers driving about and every road in the country becomes as busy as central London. (And filtering becomes illegal).
15. Granted, although I deliberately misinterpret that as the last aired season which was season 7 so you get to watch that After watching it they also decide to cancel show making it the last ever series and you never get to know what happens next.
16. Granted, you go back in time stopping yourself from reading the thread thereby causing a paradox, slowly you and everyone else is ripped apart atom by atom destroying the entire universe apart from your original self that was part of alternate timeline left in existence just drifting alone in a vast expanse of nothing...
17. Granted, and it is the best doughnut you've ever had with no side effects... You enjoy the doughnut so much you want another but it don't taste as good so go from doughnut shop to doughnut shop trying to find something that was as wonderful as the first doughnut but nothing ever compares, 1 year and 50 stone later you can no longer get up and just lay on the remnants of doughnut boxes ordering doughnuts online. I wish I was rich.
18. And the grass? It's October, grass cutting season is over!
19. Usual answer... Slowly healing, getting to stage I can see improvements now so all good, next question is how much longer will I get away with working from home
20. They can be an absolute **** to bleed, took forever to bleed them on the ER5. I found sucking some fluid through with a vacuum pump first then putting a U shaped pipe on the bleed nipple going up then down made things easier as it will retain some brake fluid so when you depress brake lever you'll see fluid and air come out, air will float to the top then when you release without doing up bleed nipple air can't get sucked back in so just keep pumping away and forget about the nipple then (calm down six30).
21. It's the wrong colour, you know you need to paint it now.
22. Depends how much it means to you, if you want it perfect first time then pay someone else, if you're happy to take the time and won't be too upset if it comes out a disaster then give it a go I wouldn't use body filler for something only 1mm deep, get some knifing putty, it's more like a thick paint in a tube, much better for smaller dinks as it's a finer paste, same procedure though put some in, scrape off excess then sand with a fine grit afterwards.
23. Do not underestimate this, I didn't think much about waterproofs at first thinking with work I've been used to being outside in rain and cold for hours... One 5 mile ride in a downpour was worse than anything I've ever experienced before, rain is annoying when walking about, rain hitting you as you're riding at 40+ is painful! That with the colder weather and added wind chill riding was agony. Pinlock definitely worth it's weight in gold.
24. Hold on... She took the dog?!! That's not on!
