1. The whole point is to stop innocent people being killed by them... They have no disregard to traffic rules and no qualms about riding along a pavement full of pedestrians to get away. Knocking them off their bike means they are ones getting hurt not innocent people. And not a question of getting knocked off for not doing as they are told again if they just refuse to stop but continue to ride sensibly they would not get rammed off, same as if someone refused to pick up a crisp packet and didn't pull out a gun they wouldn't get shot. Agreed too many innocent people get killed in police pursuits (1 is too many) but find it laughable that all the emphasis goes on the fact it was a pursuit rather than the fact the car that hit them was an uninsured/unlicensed/stolen vehicle driven by a complete cock womble who is the reason that person lost their life because they felt that the rules do not apply to them.

Same year?
3. It is not a punishment, if it was then all moped thiefs would be run over. It is not a matter of if you steal a phone you will be knocked off your bike, it is if you refuse to stop and drive like a twat police will stop you using physical force. Same as they can shoot people, we don't have capital punishment and they aren't acting as executioners in that case, they are using force to stop someone from harming them or others. The force used is relevant to situation, not the criminal offence. If someone dropped a crisp packet and when told to pick it up decides to pull a gun and gets shot, he was not killed because he was littering.
4. Yeah coral is main reason I would want one, absolutely amazing. Maybe when I move I'll think about getting one
5. That is one awesome looking fish. Used to have a tropical tank years ago, really want to get a marine tank but cost / upkeep is very off putting. Do drool over the setups at local garden centre whenever I go there.

Yeah 2 chromosones but upto 5 .... whatever you call a group of chromosones? A flock? e.g. XXXXX XX/XY are only two "normal" combinations all others are considered abnormalities however some a lot more common and not many complications. Joys of the interwebs, I feel more educated now thanks Hoggs

This isn't true... some people are born with 3 sex chromosomes (trisomy) so you can have XY, XX, XXX (Triple X syndrome), XXY (Klinefelter syndrome) or XYY Just googled it and can have up to 5... Well every day is a school day. Although they are technically abnormalities

Nowadays you'll need a bigger box than if you're asking for their life history. Funny how scientists can still only find 2 chromosome arrangements though. That would be the difference between sex and gender I suppose. Nah difference between sex and gender is I don't dream about gender every night

technically I'm not! its all user configurable and its up to the user to enter it if they choose to arse is covered by the fact it states what it does But what about GDPR? I think you're breaching it by revealing people have motorcycles.... And the fact they are people.

To be honest I change my mind almost every month, BMW have got some lovely diesels with ~6sec 0-60 yet still do 70+ mpg but just don't like their styling especially interior, definitely prefer VW group in that respect. Thought about doing lease as you lose so much money anyway (mines dropped £6k now thanks to diesel scandal) but by time you start adding the extras in you've doubled monthly price. Mine's not quickest I've owned but it is definitely the most misleading, can easily get into licence losing territory without even noticing it, especially with CVT box it will just keep accelerating while sitting barely above idle.

The 3.0 looks more similar (top end at least) so I was wrong about similar sump with that I keep thinking I should get something more economical but at same time keep eyeing up the S8, really tempted by the older V10, now that's an amazing engine and not a bad price now plus better for environment as it's not a horrible diesel

Nope the internet lied The B7 2.7 looks identical to the B8 2.7 so nothing like the 2.5... Only noticeable difference is lack of dipstick on the B8 (fitted one to mine a while back though ) Part number for B7 one is similar except ending letter, have asked on Audi forums if they are a match as found one on eBay for an older A6 2.7 with that part code but they are all too busy discussing MPG hence why most stuff I post ends up on here

Ahhh yeah they replaced the 2.5 for B7 chassis, this is the B8 so technically 2 rebuilds later know from other parts I've needed they do seem to be annoyingly very specific but had a look anyway. 2.5... Mine... Pistons seem to be in similar position as least

I would check to see if the 2.5 sump is the same as I'm sure its the same engine with the 2.7 just having a larger bore and some upratedparts! There is loads dead 2.5's about so you may be lucky Didn't do a 2.5 for year I've got (2009) did the 2.0, 2.7 and 3.0 apparently same as 3.0 but just as rare. Just got a quote from Audi main dealer... £127 new! need clarify if that's Inc VAT and not missing a 0 off the end but much better price.
16. I worked with a chap who has been described as most british bank robber. He was selected for Derren Browns The Heist (available on youtube - great show) and went all the way through to the end where Derren got him to do an armed robbery on a cash in transit van. He approached the custodian and came out with "Excuse me sir, I am sorry to interupt procedings but this is a hold up ..." (for those who don't want to watch whole show his main robbery is at about 40min). And for those wondering he swears show is 100% genuine, they never once knew what they were doing and when they done queues for robbery as far as he was concerned it was his idea and just thought go for it at the time. Derren also been totally supportative and still emails them regularly to see how they are doing.

Cheers, bit far but just checked and dont have, only ones they've got in are 2.0 engine (see below). do like The Register, great no nonsense reading. Think I am going to struggle anyway tbh I decided to get the 2.7 V6 diesel (which is lovely engine) but it seems everyone else on the planet has gone for the more sensible 2.0 diesel as whenever I am looking for parts the overwhealming majority are for that and normally ends up being a needle in a haystack search trying to find something for mine, just in this case it is a very small haystack with no needle

They work fine thank you, just spare parts are so expensive don't want to wear them out Got first quote back £300 that's for used, last time I needed a sump was for my Astra and paid £60 for a new pattern part

Car Parts

Struggling to find the site, but remember there used to be a broker like site for car parts (and possibly bike parts) where you entered what you are after and it got sent out to scrapies / parts places registered with them that would then let you know if they have part. Anyone know the site? Need a new sump for mine as have quite a lot of surface rust so probably wont be long till it starts to fail (not breached yet but looks too bad to save) but cannot find one on any of the usual places and don't dare phone Audi.
21. Hoggs not you as well Out of all the things I've done in life I didn't expect to get an accident named after me
22. Is it carb or fuel injected? Auto or manual choke? If manual it can bog down and stall once warm with choke on at idle, likewise if off in this weather will probably struggle to start.
23. As mentioned give manual a quick skim first for starting procedure as some need clutch in all the time, others only if not in neutral. Some won't start with side stand down etc... If you're doing everything right then get on phone to dealer straight away.
24. Are you getting an airbag jacket to go with it? That seems superfluous Yeah don't know what made me think of that
25. What's wrong with current clocks? Anything will normally work with anything it just depends how much time and effort you're willing to put in to make it work and skill level. In which case it may be easier to repair current clocks?
