1. "I have got a disability and any stress, I just break down crying." This has got to be a spoof post... Please someone tell me it's a spoof... My faith in humanity is dangling by a thread.
2. Not good hope not too serious. Get well soon.
3. That's what I used for car now, free and no effort required May wait for next forecast of heavy rain and squirt some fairy liquid on it first.
4. Labor could fix it though with their anti stab knives Then next year they could make knives anti cut as well
5. Don't agree with it but couldn't have been normal Swiss army knife, anything less than 3 inches and non locking is totally legal to carry and you don't need any reason, it's only when it don't meet those specs then you need a reason. Trouble with leathermans etc... Becoming more popular but made in a country that don't see locking blades as a dangerous weapon rather as common sense that you don't want blade folding into your finger when using. Absolutely ridiculous though, could understand him being arrested by over eager probationer but fact it got through custody and gate keeper and went to court to be found guilty is a joke, surely one person in that chain should have had a bit of common sense.
6. Back when I was a young en worked for a printing company, back before scanning became affordable so we would have logos etc... Printed and have to literally cut and paste them onto designs to make plates for so always had scalpels on me as were only thing that could cut perfectly and not leave any telltale edge lines on plates. Did have a mate who decided to borrow one to cut out a wart on this thumb in the pub though, to be fair to him he done it and it never grew back that blade got binned though.
7. This is the main point, all really depends on when, where, why, etc... Stanley knives lock so even though smaller than 3" need a reason, see workmen carrying them around fine but if you've got one in a pub saying but I need it for work won't fly.
8. I've made most of my contributions while AT work . I work for the government though. Oi that's my taxes you are wasting! Do some blooming work!
9. You could put some Zip Ties around it to make a more effective beater. And trim them at an angle, nothing more dangerous than a pointy zip tie
10. Looks like you do CBT first Saturday and seconds Saturday you just start on a 125 until they are confident and you move up to 600, this is fairly standard practice when starting fresh.
11. Should be OK with a leatherman I don't think it's a locking blade. Good multitools! Leatherman wave. It has a locking blade and a locking saw. I'm going down for life!! Haha Mine also had a locking file in fact everything locks even the little screwdriver and bottle opener
12. Technically no (unless good reason etc...) I always used to carry leatherman in car as very handy tool but now lives indoors. Understand the needs of knife laws with culture nowadays but don't think any scrotey yoof have ever stabbed anyone with a multi tool.
13. Noooo a swizzle stick is what you lick and dip into a dib dab. That's a double dip, a dibdab has a liquorice straw. Ahhh yes my mistake, still not Caribbean
14. Noooo a swizzle stick is what you lick and dip into a dib dab.
15. Bit late now you've bought it but personally if it is being sold as full service history I'd want that history or a discount to reflect being sold without. Who's to say they will have it when you want to sell bike, can guarantee they won't give you the difference in value when it gets lost.
16. I'd just like to see some tyres . That design is used quite a lot for 3d printed RC cars and the like as good shock absorbing structure, not sure how they'd look with your knee down on a fast bend though. Handy though... MOT next week best print some new tyres
17. see this recently they stole our idea Sure the plans will be available to download soon
18. That's ok goat agreed to test ride it
19. If you like original position can you extend pipe and move them back an inch (or two depending how big your feet are)?
20. Exactly, I've found with most cleaners as long as it's wet and some form of detergent in it that it cleans. I've got a large mirrored cabinet in bathroom and always a nightmare to clean as ends up with streaks all over it, got some TV / monitor cleaner which is really good and cleans without any streaks at all so tried that on the mirrors, worked perfectly Understand that some cleaners may be too abrasive or cause some kind of issue but think vast majority of it is marketing. Tbh if i still had a garage with power and water I'd be tempted to get a 2nd hand one as a parts cleaner. High pressure hot water alone does wonders.
21. When rebuilding ER5 I used oven cleaner instead of an automotive degreaser, much cheaper (especially as I had spare bottles of the stuff floating about) and did just as good a job. And before painting fairing I used dishwasher to clean them, that said probably wouldn't recommend it as dishwasher was gritty for ages after (probably why those with a wife get told not to do things like that) but the fairing came up a treat
22. Actually ignore that, whilst bulb holder would be standard the holder connecting that to rear light cluster would be proprietary. You could drill/cut out center of old holder so your saving that bit and glue onto new bulb holder, but could end up a lot of work for saving a few quid.
23. Look fairly standard bulb holders what bulb was it? Is current harness the same? If so you should be able to replace it with a matching holder for bulb (e.g. Double contact vertical offset which is your normal stop and tail)... https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F132420307534
