  6. You might have put slack into the cables by altering their position on the bar, try this

  8. Rode Jap bikes for a couple of years in my youth, great fun ,no gears ,no brakes but what a charge
  9. Reason I ask Dave, is that those air solenoid valves can be a pain ,alongside the sub air filters to the carbs, they are supposed to switch over at +20mph and back again below, the 2 pipes that feed the carb below that can get blocked, worth a check Forgot to add this Dave
  10. Hi Dave , try these test's to begin with , Has your bike had the DAI mod done , and is it closer to 20mph when it stalls

  13. Myself and a few other kids cut our teeth on a BSA Bantam 125 (2 stroke) , we found it on the back fields , did it up and got it working, with the help of a few older lads, tyre's were bald , no seat and we grasstrack that bike till it blew up, think I got my confidence then on a bike . Happy Days
  14. You'll probably have to get hold of a YBR125 service manual as I believe the engine gaskets are the same
  15. Hi have you tested both coils and plug leads, and connections from the Igniter (is it GSX600F)
  16. If you've worked on 2 strokes this will be a walk in the park for you
  17. A lot of the smaller bikes these days are farmed out to China , India, Korea , these smaller bikes do need a lot of looking after to get the best out of them, clean oil being one , but when you see the engine in bits you'll wonder why it hasnt broke down before, everything is so small, having said that you would be better off with a well known name as at least the quality control might be better
  18. No problem, there's plenty of parts out there
  19. Hi ,take a look here and cross ref it with your engine number yours is either 139/QMA or 139/QMB have a look at all top three In Chinese Generic Engine manuals , these are used in the WK50cc http://www.49ccscoot.com/manuals/manuals.html
  20. I think you'll find the CBR500 already have a spare 2 pin connector front and back under the "option" definition, maybe worth trying to get hold of one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-QUARTET-SUB-HARNESS-08A30-MEW-800-HOT-GRIPS-RADIO-FOG-LAMPS-AMP-12DC-NEW/312468371158?epid=645442388&hash=item48c090f6d6:g:im4AAOSwo1lcUx9Y:rk:1:pf:0 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Honda-NC750X-Sub-Harness-Kit-08A70-MJL-D30/273455501659?_trkparms=aid%3D333200%26algo%3DCOMP.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20180409081753%26meid%3D4f2ad84c6605451f9ee69ee592e182ac%26pid%3D100008%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D312468371158%26itm%3D273455501659&_trksid=p2047675.c100008.m2219
  21. Is your bike the ZXS 125, either way not really important, think you might have a wiring problem , first thing I'd do is have a look at your wiring switch on the handlebar ,make sure everything is clean in there, then the connector at the headlight ,making sure its not burnt, try the WD40 Specialist Contact Cleaner at the switch to clean the contacts, dont use ordinary WD40 Should really be in Pitstop
  22. Good little project there matey , and of course its a Honda so has to be good, watching your progress
