  1. Love Fireblades, still got my 954 , like the look of this one ,it seems a more rounded body shape than previously
  2. Dont have a problem with my drop down, but then again I'm in a lower position on the Fireblade and I'm looking up into the top Quadrant of the visor
  3. Why not try a Helmet with a drop down sun visor in it

    Abs light

Could this be an option Brian, to disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes to maybe get rid of the lamp fault

    Abs light

Was looking into this as it intrigued me , especially When the garage said he needed a new ECU, had a look at this switch initially https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WATERPROOF-Dealer-mode-tool-switch-Suzuki-GSF-Bandit-1250/263681590346 Seemed a bit more useful than just the piece of wire (although you could make one with a switch and 2 bits of wire), and this SDS which seemed good value for £80 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32333913636.html and it does other Suzuki's

Wouldn't listen to that. Have you got any fault codes (apart from the ABS) I assume you have run it with the ABS light on
  7. Dont know this bike but I'm assuming its a Slide Carb and not CV Carb, so is the cable tension OK ,and slide valve working as it should, and what colour is the spark plug (Black , Rich or White ,Lean)
  8. I tour with the same blokes every year. We all ride at roughly the same pace. One year I was leading and kept losing the guy following directly behind me. I was getting a wriggle on but nowhere near fast enough for him to not keep up. When we eventually stopped for a break I asked him if I was going faster than normal and why he was so far behind. He replied that he'd been listening to music and the distraction was affecting his riding. Moral of the story as far as I'm concerned: Don't distract yourself with music. He doesn't listen to music now May of been listening to this ">
  9. Yeh , somebody has taken their time uploading that, dont know how long it will be on the site though
  10. Take a look here , also the DNA50 https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1014411/Gilera-Runner-50-1997.html
  11. Is that also a magnet tied to the wooden spoke for Speedo
  12. A carb clean should do it, do you have any numbers on the side of the Carb? This may help https://www.bike-parts-kymco.uk/catalog/Workshop-manual/zing-125-qe-Workshop-manual/page38
  13. Sounds like your carb is running rich, could be choke fault ,pilot screw , float height, think you will need to whip the carb off ,clean and reset, your bike is based on the Honda CG125, the bike will start but as soon as you apply throttle it will flood, is that right?
  14. Have a look here https://www.manualslib.com/download/1613601/Peugeot-Xp6-50.html and here https://www.50factory.com/content/31-fiche-technique-peugeot-xp6
  15. http://www.partshark.co.uk/motorbike-parts-breaking-bikes/sym/xs%2B125/ for used https://www.wemoto.com/bikes/sym/xs_125_k/07-11 for new and many other sites
  16. Dont know the bike, but could it be an Air Induction Problem (loose Hose on the Valve) Or the 2 Air Intake sensors (Pressure and Temperature) giving the ECU false reading for feed to the valve
  17. You will have to take the engine out ,strip it and check out components, if you have never done this before , and with the cost of doing it, it could be easier acquiring another engine, but you wont know until you investigate the damage
  18. Yes matey ,it lost the blade when you replaced the bolt, looks like the collars are still on the valve ,so the broken piece is inside the cylinder, you'll have to take the head off to inspect
  19. I Think you could get away with taking the top off the engine while its still in the bike , check out the valves have had no interference, set up the timing and return top hopefully . do you have the workshop manual for it
  20. Have you taken the engine out , if not maybe you might have to ,if you say you lost that bolt then the timing chain could have jumped, might be worth a look inside, or at least take the top end off
