1. Yeh I only use their oil in all my bikes, fast postage too
2. Welcome to the Forum Sonny , what bike have you got, hopefully the Lads and Girls on here can help, but post in the Pitstop , you will get more reaction
3. Dont think anything is wrong with the coil, as it works off the battery,, but you cant put Vac into the coil , it has to be Vdc, so must pass through your Silicon Rectifier, because you have points you wont have a CDI, so the Harness and Ignition switch should be installed, no need to have the battery installed as this will work from the kickstart
4. All Hail Twatty McTwatface argh Pickwick , you'll now be known as Pike...stupid boy Thank You Master
5. Well done matey for carrying it that long, there's a lot of forums failed
6. Think first of all your going to need a 12v battery (once everything is connected up) install the wiring loom , including ignition switch, (you will need that to cut supply) havent got a silicon Rectifier on this one , but has a REC/REG , and once the wiring is sorted then see if you get a spark at the plug, ( dont install battery at this point) using the kickstart ,would also check everything at the Generator is setup right and see how you go,
7. Looks like it could be a 12v,CG125BR-S/T or the earlier E-F as it has the Ignition coil and not the CDI
8. Guess I'm back to being mild mannered Clark Kent again
9. Would do as TimR suggest and redo, dont need the battery ,but you do need the wiring circuit, if you did manage to get it going you would need to pull out the B/W wire to stop it, so Ignition switch/kill switch is needed and Silicon Rectifier or CDI and reg/rec depending on age of bike
10. Yes I know he wrote that Bob, just trying to find out if he's chucking 6vac into the coil
11. Just to check again, do you have an ignition switch on your bike and are the wires connected, and when you measured the output from the generator did you have the multi at vdc or vac, remember the battery is DC and will produce the spark ,Generator is AC and is your Silicon/rectifier connected
12. Really dont get the Chinese Motorcycle negativity , its a motorbike, seems strange when you look round the house and all the things that are made in China , including phones electrical goods etc
13. Have you got the frame number ,that might at least give an idea of the frame age , (could have had an engine swap though) 6v to 1985 then 12v in the UK
14. The 6 long should give you a cleaner gear change ,less chance of clutch slip, downside is a stiffer lever, but you can always swap them back if you dont like the action
15. Think we are wasting our time here fastbob posted the same to him on Friday , think he's buggered off
16. I nominate dynax , thinks he can out-twat me
17. Gimmee ,gimmee, gimmee, gimmee, gimmee,
