Round at my Mother's at Christmas and the old photographs came out . Picture one is my Grandfather on my Mother's side . I haven't figured out what the bike is but it could have already been quite old . The second picture is my late Father on a rather sensible early Bantam . Does anyone else have some photos to prove motorcycles are in their blood ?

Health issues and weather are working against me and i’m now the wrong side of 115kg ...
I have controllable heart and blood pressure issues which will not kill me but could mess me up and currently my only exercise is cycling , albeit on the Doncaster / Gainsborough flat lands, 20 - 30 miles once a week.
I’m considering 2 visits a week to a gym for spinning and rowing to help me maintain and improve fitness through the rest of the winter and early spring in addition to my weekly ride.
Has anyone else gone down this road and did it produce reasonable results ??
Exercise in any form is very good for you but as a sole means to weight loss it won't work . The only path to weight loss is to reduce calorie intake . And I should know because a few years ago I lost 9 stone . And now I've put it all back on again .

I've been listening to the deluxe edition of Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band . Some really beautiful stuff on here particularly some of the work in progress versions of well known songs . Penny Lane as an instrumental being one of them .

I think when I retire I will get back into RC aircraft. I used to fly competition aerobatics but that wouldn't appeal now. I'm pondering electric Keil Kraft as the way to go.
I'd definitely recommend electrified KK rubber models . I've got a full size Contestor and a 200% Senator . Both are beautiful slow flyers on rudder and throttle only . The only downside is that they prefer very still air . I build from plans that are downloaded for free from Outerzone Plans ..

Half the discussions on here serve little to no purpose, I have seen nothing in this thread that holds Harry in anything other than a good light, he was a very keen biker who met a tragic and untimely end at the hands of a coward who used diplomatic channels to avoid the law.
I would have thought Harry would have no issues with us talking about him and keeping his memory alive.
If this serves no other purpose other than re-enforce the fact that on 2 wheels your never really safe then even that's not a bad thing.
Fair enough , that's an equally valid view .

I have hinted at this before . Does this discussion serve any purpose ? Perhaps we should be mindful that any of the deceased's family and friends could accidentally stumble upon this thread by googling certain key words .

On later CG models there was a rear fairing with two bolts that lined up with the other two lugs on that rack. If you remove your seat and take a photo it would be helpful to see what fittings are there.
But this isn't a later CG model .

As as I can determine it should look like this in terms of the fixing points . The front two go under the nuts that hold the shocks on . The other two I'm not sure about . Because there at least a dozen Chinese copies of your bike , one would assume that there would be numerous copies of a rack . I've found a few but they are hidious looking contraptions aimed at the Third World marketplace . Anyway now that you have an idea what to look for , I wish you luck in your search . May I suggest that you join the CG FB page .

We had one of these.
Trying to land a model of an F4 Phantom in my parents lounge in Xmas 1974 or 5.
I made my own version of that with a string that ran the length of the garden and an Airfix Fairy Battle suspended below a pulley .

Some very good pictures this year and a lot of them , including my own , appear to be in portrait rather than landscape mode .

We had a muppet who lit up one of those indoors at a club venue. Then watched a nice black line of oily exhaust residue appear all round the room until the fuel ran out.
The following week another clot lashed a gas turbine to a table with the exhaust pointing out of the window. Unfortunately it was going full pelt when the club steward walked across the car park and saw the cone of flame jetting out of the window.
We got banned after that.
I got banned from the Keil Kraft Facebook page for commenting that control line was a " Tethered aerofoil " and therefore not truly flying which I thought was a little unfair . I'm into the more gentle and fragile art of electric powered stick and tissue designs .
