    Scored Rotors

Also see if you can adjust the pedal position so that it is still comfortable and easy to use but in a slightly lower position so that if your foot is covering pedal its not actually depressing it but bear in mind you may have to adjust rear brake switch position if its a manual type and not pressure activated

  8. Note on instructions above .... Immerse wheel as it stands vertically not horizontal as this will immerse wheel bearings in water

  10. Its not the battery you want to worry about its the charging system the battery is purely there to start the bike once started the charging system charges the battery back up and supplies the rest of the bike with power The charging system will cope fine with the extra load of heated grips and gloves if you so wish I keep hearing horror stories about "reg/rac" etc. charging systems always going bust.. makes me a little apprehensive That's because its a triumph not heated grips
  11. Security is only as good as its weakest link . No point having best chain padlock or ground anchor ...if the concrete its fixed into can be broken just by levering the ground anchor out

    Handling Issue

Depending on how much time / milage has past it may still feel odd as tyre will have scrubbed slightly to that track .

    Handling Issue

Incorrect alignments will dramatically effect handing. Bent forks can cause a bike to track one way Any contamination on the tyre can cause issues A dragging brake can cause issues slowing the rear end trying to make it slide Fear/nervousness over highlights issues as well and is normal after an incident . Most who crash will always have issues on similar aspects of riding ..dislike left or right hand bends etc etc
  16. Sj400 with a weatherproof charging case total cost £50 .bike mounted though . Stand alone battery time 1-2 hrs depending on quality
  17. and that let only out of three cylinders fire? Bike was running along fine and about a mile away from leaving it started coughing sputtering as if out of petrol ...and misfiring .. stopped .. investigated bike ran fine stood there .. ok set off again . Started doing it again within minutes .. stopped .. again running fine . As soon as i lifted the stand it started burbling . The plunger was hovering in that position trying to cut the engine but not enough contact to close fully.
  18. And why is it ..virtually all hgvs over 10ft high have their height recorded in cab in feet and inches... All bridges in the uk are marked out in feet and inches (some with metric also) BUT virtually all garage forecourt canopies are marked in metres ..... ...
  19. Kawasaki .... Had similar on my gpz500 m Turned out to be the Sidestand switch partially closed trying to fool the bike that stand was down when it wasnt
  20. That does not answer Why? Trying to change the wheel system was attempted in the 80's but it didn't happen. Not only would all wheels become a different size but tyres would all have to be changed. Then 2 systems would have to be running as 99% of tyres run the current system, for instance 17" wheels would become 438.1mm which isn't a metric size, just a conversion so would become 440mm to most of us on here im sure mm is The same could be asked why do we buy petrol in ltrs and then worry about our miles per gallon And to throw in that we all buy a petrol can commonly referred to as a gallon can which holds 5l ... BUT a uk gallon is 4.54 litres ...
