  1. I'll be there once again, and marshalling at Sarah's Cottage again. Staying at St Georges Campsite beside the Grandstand, from 31st May until 5th June. Can't wait. Might even take the wife's new blade if she lets me.
  2. Just along the road from you. In fact there are a couple of us in my street, and my other mates are just over at High Blantyre. Bikes we have are 2013 Fireblade, RSV4, and Street Triple RS.
  3. It was pish. Too many crap clothing stalls and stuff not even related to bikes, not enough quality bike gear stalls. No new R6, no BMW Motorad, no big Panigale. I don't think I would go again after that. Very disappointing.
  4. No need for anything like that in football. However if teams, clubs, players want to do that then that is fine IMO. That is their choice. But it wasn't an issue 5 years or so ago, now everyone wants to out-poppy everyone else, and say they remember/respect etc way more than anyone else. The whole poppy issue has been hijacked. Even the likes of BBC force anyone on their channels to wear them before going on. Becoming ridiculous. I remember the fallen from WW1 & 2 in my own way, in my own time. I don't need a charity badge to do it or show how much respect I have for those people. But I wont donate to the charity now as this has changed to include more current conflicts which I don't agree with. Help For Heroes is supposed to be for current conflicts survivors is it not ? Nobody should be shamed for wearing or not wearing a charity badge, nor for donating or not donating. It is their choice, and nobody knows what others do to pay their respects. Government officials complaining about it are the worst though. They send these poor folk out to die basically then claim their football teams should be allowed to wear a badge showing their lack of support for them on their return ?
  5. Having moved house I am now down in the Biggar area. So will be found riding around there.
  6. Dalveen Pass, Devils Beeftub are the two main ones down that way.
  7. I have H7 OKR on the bike. Wife has H7 KOR on her car.
  8. Yes. I have one on my blade tho so may be a little biased.

  10. Nice bike mate. You just added K on Facebook there. Pretty spooky. So anyway, those roads in Dumfries ? Dalveen Pass is pretty good.
  11. It's mega quick. Although 20 mins after that pic he got done on mine. Yep bike sharing when she can be arsed to go on it. Is it the new Z1000 ? They are nice bikes whether new or old. I love the look of the new MV Agusta Dragster. The Lewis Hamilton model is awesome, but a fortune. The old man still out on the hog ? Where you working now anyway ? Take it easy, pass on my hellos.

  13. Aye I am fine. How are you ? Yeh still have the blade. Missing it just now. K sold her 600RR, so down to 1 bike for now. My mate got a new bike tho. http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u31/Ratser/Bike/5a66b223a44345753ccb3769d7df8ee2_zpsnnocvj7b.jpg
  14. Davie at Hamilton Motorcycles. Awesome guy, fully approved by all major manufacturers, uses only named parts. My blade went there for its first service as it was less than half of what Honda wanted.
  15. Still got that bandit ? Thought you may be into the cruiser by now.
  16. Well, sadly, Revs and I will not be able to make it as we have babysitting and catsitting issues. Shame, as it was at this weekend last year when we met. Hope to catch up with you all at some other time though. Have a great time everyone.
  17. Are you really comparing the "biggest sporting event in the world" to two countries squabbling over a wee island ?

    Religion

If some people choose to use their religion to bring their children up to be able to respect others as well as themselves then so be it. Any help with that is welcome. If they can do it without religion, then that is also commendable.
  19. Have fun. Remember your nose plug.

    Religion

There are times when my religion comforts me, and there are times when I wish the world was free of all religions. As someone who has lived in a city completely blighted by the conflicting religions. If people find comfort within any religion, or if it helps to guide people into respecting other people in the world, then where is the harm. Why people feel the need to berate, persecute or harm others in the name of religion or just because they don't agree or like that religion, I will never understand. As it stands, I do not believe in everything the bible tells us, as I have the common sense to be able to see what is probable. However I wouldn't ever try to persuade someone who did believe in everything that they were wrong. As a catholic, I also do not agree with everything that the modern catholic church preaches or their stance on various wordly issues. Again my common sense can make my own mind up. However, these stances, in a modern world, is where the catholic church (I feel) lets itself down. Not going to go into any specifics, as that would likely prompt a mega thread. But maybe the need to update their stance with the century we are living in. That is just my opinion, so if you do believe in their stance on all issues then do not feel offended or feel the need to argue the point.
  21. So it should offend you mate. Very young guy, with talent and a great future who supports a good team. For me: Xiaoxiang Dai - China - Archery v. Von Geijer - Sweden - Sailing d. Da Silva - Brazil - Athletics Nazar Kovalenko - Ukraine - Athletics Jolanta Ogar - Poland - Sailing Dominic King - Team GB - Athletics Aaron Ramsey - Team GB - Football Helen Glover - Team GB - Rowin Happy with that. Also a very talented youngster who matches my footballing abilities, and plays for a top team.

    Olympics

I wat ched it too and found it quite amusing. But the funniest bit was the Queen looking completely bored and picking her nails when the teams were coming out, especially by the time the GB team came out.
