  1. Offended ? No. More like laughing our asses off at the stupidity.
  2. We have enough crap 'raining' over us up here without all this nonsense. But yes, I will be at the TT celebrating, being nowhere near all the jingoistic royal rumble garbage, with all the folk with their wee butchers aprons on a stick, and singing funeral songs. Great thread though. Couldn't let it pass without comment. God bless you all, hope you find something exciting in your lives.
  3. 128mph was his third lap, where the setting sun was proving difficult, and there was melting tar at Guthries too.. Love it when he said on his first lap that he had a problem so just cruised round, yet still recorded 111mph lap.
  4. Every night except Wednesday I think mate. McGuinness posted a 128mph lap yesterday.
  5. Then maybe they'll fix the bloody things to a decent standard. Nah it needs to pay for the free prescriptions and free tuition fees mate. Honest !! Besides, we will all be back to horse and carts if independence hits anyway.
  6. Couple of great clips here on board with Michael Dunlop, with Guy Martin in front. Can't wait to get there on Sunday, will be awesome as usual. I will miss my Revs though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOTEVXeLDHA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLGOwkejq8c
  7. And additional road tax for aliens wanting to ride the roads up here
  8. What has that got to do with anything ? It comes from the budget allowance for Scotland. Similarly prescription fees. Of course in order to sustain this 'initiative' by Salmond and his corrupt cronies, taxation in this country will increase a helluva lot if it ever does become independant. A lot of people in Scotland still hate English people, and to a degree Irish as well. I have never understood it. I don't get the whole patriotic crap of any country, and between that, money and religion is most of the cause of the worlds problems.
  9. Brilliant roads mate. Stop off at the wee coffee shop at Carsphairn. Really nice wee place and biker friendly. It's just like a wee house. Was down that way yesterday, but cut across to Moniaive from Dalry (the better road this time), to Thornhill, Dalveen Pass, and Abington, then up the road before Revs had to go to work.
  10. You obviously mean Northern Ireland or else your comment is completely wrong.
  11. Not for me. Not a fan of the Union, but letting the SNP, Labour or anyone else complete control over this country would be the day I decide to up sticks and leave it. It's bad enough the way it is just now.
  12. A7 had a few of those today as well Gayle. Was a crackin' ride up though, and quite fast too. One camera van on it as well.
  13. Whichever you do, you are gonna hit the deck I would go for the track though.
  14. Was in Edinburgh this morning, and have popped home to get the bike. Don't you just love sunshine and 28 degrees ?
  15. Is that not the girls who do a West Coast ride every year for Breast Cancer ?
  16. Stoner to Retire At End Of 2012 Season Casey Stoner Announces Retirement At End of 2012 Season
  17. Woodcote Grandstand A for me.
  18. Did the WHW years ago as part of the Duke of Edinburgh awards, and that was excellent. Couldn't do it now in my old age, but was worthwhile at the time.
  19. Unless you like looking at some classic bikes, auto jumble, home baking, sweets and toys, oh and a palm reader, then I wouldn't bother. Although Ducati Glasgow had a stand, with the 848, Panigale, Diavel and Monster. Not worth £8, entrance to park is terrible, pot holes, muddy, and that was on a dry day. Until it came time to leave that is, then the heavens opened. Weather tomorrow meant to be horrible as well.
  20. Of course some flags are more disgusting than others.
  21. Unfortunately Revs and I wont be making it either. Just got too much on at that time.
  22. I nod to anyone and everyone, but if there is a big group passing and it doesn't compromise my safety, I will just keep a hand raised. If it is going to a big meet like the BSB, TT etc, then most folk tend not to nod as they would all end up with sore necks.
  23. I have to laugh at folk who get upset at wee coloured bits of material that are called flags. Why do these people get so upset ? They are scraps of material, worth nothing more than used toilet paper. Although in the case of that housing association, it's not the flags that are the problem, but the fact that the holders were fixed to the building when no permission was asked. I can see their point.
