  1. I would just take a few extra SD cards and be fussy about what I filmed bearing in mind it would only be me and mine that were the slightest bit interested in watching anything longer than a 2 minute clip.
  2. The owners manual says. 1. Place the motorcycle on level ground on the side stand. 2. Start the engine and allow it to idle for a few minutes. 3. Stop the engine and wait for 3 minutes. 4. Hold the motorcycle vertically and check the level through the oil inspection window on the right hand side of the engine. the oil level should be between the L low and F full lines. (Edited for spelling)
  3. ah.. now I remember, someone with that bike told me about it.. its got a weird name. I couldn't understand what possible use it was except to power a phone kept in the glovebox. 2.5A and only live with the ignition on. fairly limited use for something like that tbh.
  4. Please clear up any confusion. where was the bike when it was stolen? was it at your home address?
  5. Thats pretty normal for a socket that was factory fitted at (or near) the bars.. its designed specifically for low draw items like a GPS. (in theory) the owners manual should tell you what its designed for and what should not be used.
  6. What bike has a 3A fused accessory socket? and where is it positioned on the bike?
  7. looks like a layer of mould. such as you would find on a can of beans that has been left open for a few days. was the can properly sealed?
  8. Personally. I would see this as a great excuse to fit an accessory socket.. not only to ensure the inflator will always work in an emergency. But also, handily.. you will always have the means to keep your phone fully charged.. and have a convenient point to connect a 12v battery charger. I think an accessory socket is just about the handiest extra you can add to any bike. And they're not exactly expensive. or difficult to fit/site. for example. http://tinyurl.com/y8llope6 A well regarded portable tyre pump is one of these. http://tinyurl.com/ycqx56hl. Though, unlike the GHB it doesn't have its own battery,
  9. If like Ed Sheeran I was worth 45 million I would'nt care if sone people didn't like me
  10. my 800 is exactly the same. its a rough guide until the last 100 or so miles and then becomes more accurate.
  11. Thats a spanner set every 3 and a half years.. I think you need to question your buying choices. Buy cheap buy twice (and then some.)
  12. I have sent you a message.. with details of how to contact this former member.
  13. They was... 7 years ago last Thursday.
  14. workmanship is spot-on. the bag is very easy to wear... very comfortable. zips and other fastenings are good quality. its a very good bag... the only downsides are because it has a hard shell.. you are restricted in what you can carry.. there is no 'give' like you will have in a soft shell rucksack. also.. its not waterproof. but.. its ideal i reckon for sportsbike riders in particular.. whu have no luggage carrying capacity on their bikes and need to carry a few bits and pieces and in comfort.. I think its this one... or very similar to. just to add.. mine was bought for me as a gift and at the time cost £80 compare this £10 bag with the same thing... just a different brand name from get geared. http://www.getgeared.co.uk/ogio-no-drag-mach-3-backpack-black
  15. Ive owned one of these for about 5 years...and I have one piece of advice. if you are going to use this compartment: and rain is in the forecast. then put the laptop into a plastic bag first... because the rucksack is NOT waterproof.
  16. tease it out with a bit of corned beef.. sometime the old methods are still the best.
  17. The WD 40 Non debate debate.
  18. its much like anything i wear.. when the time comes for it to be retired. its obvious to me. with helmets thats mostly when it becomes loose.. ill fitting. sometimes because it needs a new visor and it seems sensible to me to replace the entire thing. In years past before washable liners came along the thing would inevitably become smelly. but mostly its because i just fancy a new one.. no more reason than that. No real time limit... just reaches that point where i want a new one. And perhaps Ive gotten that extra nudge because Ive seen one discounted and thought "why not? its time". right now i have two.. one i wear regularly, but is approaching the end of its life. and another waiting to become a full time replacement. which I've just used for touring so far.
  19. makes you wonder what the roads would be like if the old 'road fund' tax was hypothecated.. or a proportion of the tax we pay for petrol was the same. or.. if the £56,000,000,000 thats about to be spent on a railway line we don't really need... was spent on local roads instead. We should have the best roads in western europe.. putting even Germany to shame. given all the money raised from 'traffic'
  20. Plenty of reviews on YOUTUBE... just search for OGIO No drag for example "> the one mentioned on this thread looks very much like the Mach 3.. with only very slight differences. But its definitely from the same factory.
  21. seen that on this forum just a few weeks ago.
  22. I have a Caberg Duke.. its fine for its price point. tends to be noisy so ear plugs are a must. The Duke 2 is blue tooth ready and so 'may' be quieter. I was looking for a plain white helmet.. one that fit me and cost less than £200. So.. at £130 the Caberg was fine. its not a 'top tier' helmet by any means... but its perfectly adequate. Easy to open and close with a decent and very positive 'locking - CLICK' mechanism. the drop down visor is always handy and the included pinlock a nice touch.
  23. Top of the pops was never the same after he left Pans People.
  24. If you fancy a nice ride.. https://goo.gl/maps/NtegbYZWs7x and https://goo.gl/maps/sQaLzZTA1c82
  25. You need to move... living in the crime capital of Warwickshire will always carry a cost.
