Right who mentioned roadworks cause your a jinxy twat On traversing Northumberland today 2 of the most ridiculous diversions, one not even signed just road closed and a bloke asleep in a van and shut, probably half a mile of road with a 15 mile detour to get back to the other side of it the ........... Insert own words. Got round that and 10 mile later another road closed argggggg should have taken me 35min took an hour, did end up on a road I didn't know existed although it was more like a farm track, single lane, few passing places but not another car on the entire road.

I drove my kids home last week with yet another night time closure of the A1 and the most ridiculous diversion, I said you've had roadworks every time I've taken you home, dad he said, the roadworks have been here as long as I've been alive, he's 27
