  1. The red one in the link. I quite liked the yellow. But I need to grow up at my age. I've always liked Arai. But at that price it's a real bargain. I will let you know what I think when it's delivered.
  2. You made me do it Simon. New helmet on the way.
  3. It's happening everywhere now. There was a case last summer of three people on Suron electric bikes goading the police here. They are deliberately setting out to harass, or commit crime.
  4. How about not on your Nellie Melba pudding? If you didn't know. Peach Melba was named after this famous opera singer.
  5. I wonder what it was reving to?
  6. The RS4 is a tiny bike which makes it more uncomfortable as it's so small. Sports bikes can be pretty uncomfortable as a rule. But most 125 sports bikes are nowhere as extreme. The handle bars are usually above the top yoke for example. And the pegs not as high as a proper sports bike.
  7. Looks like a cool app. But the light pollution here makes it nearly impossible.
  8. It might be worth balancing the carbs if you haven't done so already.
  9. I've just brought one of these from screwfix of all places. https://www.screwfix.com/p/burg-wachter-heavy-duty-d-padlock-9-7cm-x-10cm/6240f Good value for money. And it might fit behind the disc. But you would need to measure it. Or you might have to get a pin type one as mentioned above. It should fit through the slots on the disc if long enough.
  10. They even do 80-90cc cylinder kits for the RS50. As they used to race them. But 80mph on the speedo, is probably 60 real speed.
  11. Well done. Saved yourself a good few quid there.
  12. I think most of the opticians do some sort of anti glare coating on their glasses now. It does seem to make a difference. But yellow tints might be more effective.
  13. Well worth doing then. These are great engines. And pretty bullet proof if maintained.
  14. How were the shim specs? Need many changing?
  15. I would still like to own one at some point. Just a really fun bike. I wish they had given it a couple more horses when they did the gearbox upgrade. It would make it more usable. The newer version looks better than last years.
  16. Nice pictures. It's funny how you still see the old Harley Davidson / Armstrong motorcycles about. Even though those riding them hated them. I've used monkey juice before as I've a trade card at halfords. It's not at all bad. And I like the smell of bananas.
  17. It's funny you mentioning the arm higher. On a Michael Nerves Q&A video there was a question about cornering. He said when doing instruction on the track he often noticed riders who were having difficulty turning one way. Had this arm higher. And once they learned to relax and drop their arm. They found cornering easier. I still go round left's easier than rights.
  18. I was told doing my training in the 90's. That a stall wasn't a fail. But you had to restart and not do it again. Or put yourself or others in danger. I guess it's all down to the examiners view. I would definitely try another test centre if you feel you are not being treated fairly.
  19. You must be freezing!
  20. Loads of free furniture on Gumtree where I live. But I do live in a city.
  21. The guy is very committed. That's a tough course.
  22. You cannot restrict a bike that produces more than 94hp for an A2 licence.
  23. I was watching a Michael Nerves video last night. He was talking about his T Max scooter. When he did a comparison check Bennett's wanted £3,300! He got a quote from another insurer for under £500. So it just goes to show, you need to shop around.
  24. Welcome to the forum.
