  1. That's a real shame. You will just have to try again. It will be worth it.
  2. It's just a thought. But had the same problem on a Suzuki address scooter. When I took the original ignition switch apart. It had a 100 ohm resistor between two of the wires. It was well hidden. Put a resistor inline with the new switch and it worked. Obviously the ECU is looking for a certain voltage. It might explain the difference in voltage on the original post too.
  3. So KTM is now ending it's dealer affiliation to CF moto. From next month dealers will only sell KTM models again. I wonder if they were losing sales when people were comparing prices?
  4. It's probably had the throttle cable replaced at some time. And like @Old and Withered said. Not replaced correctly. It's a good thing they found it.
  5. Morning everyone, Simon.
  6. That's great service. They are well know for it. I've noticed Halfords do a similar thing when I wanted a part for my cycle. I looked at the price on the website. And when I went to the store it was quite a bit more money. They did match it when I asked though. But a bit sneaky if you ask me.
  7. What a great mix of bikes.
  8. My brother had a similar thing with motorcycle city years ago. Three months wait for a gift service.
  9. No it wasn't a taxi. Low miles in excellent condition. Apparently the finance companies have lost hundreds of millions of pounds as they thought EV vehicles would hold their value better. So now they are taking a dim view on pricing to not make the same mistakes again.
  10. I was watching a dealer talking about a EV Skoda Kodiaq the other day. £52,000 new. Was three years old and he was having trouble sorting finance for it. The finance companies have its value as £8000 when it's six years old. Shocking.
  11. Congratulations @Fozzie. Looks like a lovely place to get married.
  12. But then they look at you like. Why did you do that?

    Hello from newb Yogi

    Welcome to the forum Yogi.
  14. I think we have a general consensus. Return it.
  15. That's not a good sign.
  16. The reply says it all. I know not all disabilities are physical. But partaking in a disabled bay is just wrong.
  17. Could be a blocked main jet. Dirty air filter, or exhaust. If you take the carb off to clean it. Check that the slide opens all the way when you twist the throttle.

    Morning.

Welcome Steve. The GB does sound like it's ideal for you. And you are probably right. Put that engine in a cheap trail bike chassis. Honda would sell loads. I had an RD, but the later, less liked F2. Still loved it though. And then brought an even more impractical TZR250. I do love a two stroke.
  19. Bloody auto correct on my tablet is a nightmare. Always changing what you write. And usually something nothing like you typed.
  20. According to Yamaha parts catalogue. It's part number 4WP-81801-00. They only list the SR from 1997. Flowers have this. https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/4094542/sr125-3mw3-1992-999-a/demarreur-electrique But it looks like no brushes.
  21. Fowlers do an parts schematic you could have a look. But I've just spent 20minutes on there and can't see anything similar.
  22. Yeah it was. At least he should hopefully be okay. They have taken his bike away today to be assessed. He is hoping it's fixable.
  23. Not sure what they have given him. But he was in hospital for 6 hours before they have him any pain relief.
  24. Interweb gone mad.
  25. Double post.
