My Opinion is there is No set time The amount of riding your doing and in the Snow too! youve already exceeded the usual saddle time for a lot of learners You wont get any more hazard than snow & ice .......well maybe a Tornado? If you said you wanted a Vmax I would say dont be silly But You Sound Ready Now

2 year old grips with this controller Bike is in friends garage cant ride it Atm as having to use ice studs on shoes just to walk around here ATM (ice is bad here) A test could help the OP decide so I will test tomorrow

I think I will test this with my spare battery just to see what voltage it shuts down at and if there is still enough power to start a freezing cold 4 cylinder
-
I dont trust in this feature on mine,...........they are supposed to shut off if battery gets as low as 12.2V...............thats only "just" enough to crank my engine I think I will carry on being paranoid about turning them off a min or 2 before I turn off engine Of Course some Dickhead can switch them on "for a laugh" as they pass if they are direct to battery

This is exactly what I have found with 125s. I dropped one tooth on my front cog and it brought the engine rpm in top gear into a useable range. Whilst in theory the overall top speed will drop that would only apply going downhill with the wind behind you after eating 4 cans of baked beans. In reality - on the flat and with any kind of moderate gradient or headwind it will help you keep in top gear so you actually go faster. It also brought the gears into a much nicer place for round town riding as well. Agreed, I know my bike is a completely different beast to a 125 but my stock is 17/40 and I run 16/42 which really makes it "Come Alive" + you wont notice a big drop in MPG In Theory A 125 should become more responsive and should be able to hold higher speed and get there a little faster Just dont expect it to act like a 200cc JT Sprockets are industry standard and high quality

I Think you know your own limitations and what ever you decide will be the right course for you

Careful over tightening the spark plug Most are only about 8lb's (even on Big engines) Its Incredible considering the pressures generated in piston stroke and resulting force of the burning mixture that the spark plugs dont shoot straight through the petrol tank every engine cycle

Hello, Take the cap on the Cam chain tensioner......and push a rod or screwdriver in there to take up the slack and you should hear a "click" where it takes up a new tooth on the adjuster ratchet If that dosnt work recheck your valves because it could also be tappet noise You could also check the exhaust isnt leaking at the head I use a Long BBQ lighter and put a flame next to the port.....if it blows out or flickers there is a exhaust leak

I just make sure I turn mine off when Im a few streets away or a minute or 2 before I turn engine off So a little charge goes back into battery Its not needed but Its Just to make sure
