1. Im wondering if you have same tester to me? Ive a Draper Compression tester that Im suspicious of I wouldnt care but my old £12 one was more accurate
2. Also should run bike up to temp to drain and after filling run it for 10 seconds then stop it ....so the filter gets occupied then refill what is lost on the oil glass level All refills need to be done on level ground with bike sat upright
3. Hello, Do you have a picture? Also are there two bolts next to each other, one being drain plug ...is there a chance you have undone the wrong one? Someone will be along soon to explain what it is as I cant remember what its called but have heard of this before being a common mistake
4. What you want is enough oil so the piston skirts dip into it and oil gets on the barrels below the rings It may make no difference but its worth doing
5. With thought a "dry" engine is not going to seal properly and may cause damage metal on metal without lube as you can appreciate isnt good
6. Of course you wont have much oil in there because you pulled it apart? It cant hurt Years ago I was cranking a motor a lot and had similar PSI results till I put the oil cooler on and added Oil , if memory serves me right the PSI jumped up to decent pressure Its worth a go My real thoughts are about your (now used) head gasket Are you dipping the compression tester thread in oil before installing it?
7. When you say its on a pallet does the starter crank the same speed as when its in the bike? I used this method before and the starter cranked really slow....Also when I used this method years ago the engine didnt have oil in it so that affected compression too...........presumably because the rings were not sealing properly because the oil wasnt coming from below. I dont care what anyone says but head gaskets have been a bain in my life and re-using one Never works the same as the first time
8. Uk fuel is pretty high quality, but what quality is it in Sweden ??? On USA sites they always complain about "bad gas" and "gas went bad" blah blah

chain problem

Bikes with any power dont use chain links anymore A 125 might? But I would be surprised if a 600 does They need to be ground off and riveted with a special tool

16. While everyone has been panic selling Ive been buying XRP The list of Financial Organizations that have linked arms with XRP is incredibly impressive.........and when they start to actually use it as apposed to just testing it..........they wont want the public owning XRP.........so they will HAVE to buy from Us.......at a Cost
17. Mine has arrived today £13.95 (inc postage) Damn Bargain! Would I pay the RRP of £50 without knowing I can get it really cheap? ....... probably Yes! Its also a Tardis and deceptively roomy ........I put three 2 litre bottles of Coca-Cola in it and there was plenty room left Although I can imagine it takes a bit of getting used to "loading" the stuff in there as you put stuff in via the back as opposed to the top on most bags It seems comfortable and will look really cool on any type of bike All in all Im Very very Happy
18. Whats the general quality like Gerontious ?
19. Sure it hasnt switched to Kmph?
20. I sent an email to my old sparing partner (we were Thai Boxers) who is now a Doctor (GP) who was previously a Paramedic and he uses a drift too Now considering he was first line to pick up the pieces .....he recons its rubbish about the mounts causing problems , he said they simply fall off on impact Also the drift uses a easy to use clamp to take it off and on I often take it off with gloved hands, point it at a number plate and then just pop it back on the mount
21. If that were true then my paramedic friend wouldnt ride with one would he
