1. Or new shear bolts. I had the right sized button head bolts to hand.
2. Coz the shear bolts are a security feature, which is why I used thread lock & resin.
3. I'm really bored Right Richzx6r you asked for it !! Firstly, the rubber sleeves that slide over the fork legs where an absolute sod to fit, I used all sorts of lube ( steady down now ), but they were so tight I ended up knocking them down with a piece of wood. The clamps were splayed too far apart for the bracket fixings to reach, despite trying to hold them together with a pair of mole grips, which got in the way of the bracket. So I used a longer fixing in to pull them them together allowing the correct bolt to be used in the other hole. This only worked if you used the top fixing point first, as if you used the bottom one, the bracket caught & wouldn’t swing up far enough to line up the top one ( of course this was the first way I attempted to do it ) Then I trial fitted the headlamp & could not for the life of me get the light to fit in the bowl, after much cursing & self doubt, I realised that the tang on the headlight rim was too wide to fit the slot In the bowl where the top fixing is. So I had to file, the tang down to fit, I didn’t want to mess with the other side as it might have cracked the chrome, leading to rusting. So there you go.
4. Gotta love a bit of bling
5. Aaaaagggghhhh So I removed the bracket, refitted the ignition lock, used thread lock, tightened, filled the heads with epoxy resin and let them set. Went to fit the top yolk & the bloody steering lock fouled with the bracket on the headstock. I’ve had to strip it apart again & add some 3.5mm spacers ( found some nylon ones knocking about in the garage ) to replace the thickness of the bracket - Got it all refitted today When you’re really bored I’ll tell you about the fitting problem I’ve had with the headlamp!!
6. Nah. William Hartnell. Much darker and scarier. That’s coz it was in Black & White
7. Used to watch the wrestling with my Gran, she’d bring a bag of sweets & everyone would leave us to it. It was only talking to my Mum, long after my Gran died that I found out that she was just perving over the guys in tight costumes, apparently she used to like the snooker - watching those smartly dressed men bending over in their tight trousers. Good on her I say !! God bless you Flo
8. Yep on Grandstand, me and me dad glued to it, Dave Bickers, Vic Eastwood? and Murray walkers genius commentary, all Greaves and BSA's i think. Then there was the wrestling at 4:00 on Tyne tees. Kent Walton commentary? Jackie Pallow , Mick McManus , Les Kellet , Kendo Nagasaki and the Royal Brothers . The football results brought to you by Teleprinter and snooker in black and white all followed by Tom and Gerry and Dr Who . Happy days . No, Happy days was screened In the UK much later.
9. Used to go to scrambles as a nipper, helping my Dad set up the PA system, then being a runner for the people in the control caravan, usually getting teas. Loved watching it & soon learned not to spectate on the outside of bends.
10. If you read the article, it says ‘this is the first step’ Just watch what happens next !!
11. Read this in today’s MCN I use Muc-Off and do rate it quite highly, but this is the first step to ruining it. When a company says it’s going to make something more ‘environmentally friendly’, they really mean ‘it will be shit’ The route to a greener product is taking out all the stuff that makes it great & replacing it with something similar, greener but nowhere near as good!! ..... this is of course my opinion disagree if you like, a rats ar*e will not be given.
12. They were
13. Never mind, I got in there with a grinding bit on my Dremel, took a while but the bracket is now off. I’ll replace the fixings with something standard like a cap head bolt, but put some epoxy resin in the head as a security measure.
14. I need to remove this bracket in order to fit the clocks on my Trophy CRK cafe racer. To do this I have removed the top yoke and now need to undo these fixings: Any ideas apart from drilling them out? I’ve painted everything & don’t fancy scratching things doing it. Are they likely to be L/H thread or anything else bizarre? Ta.
15. Mates got one. Got it dirt cheap as it had a severe over fuelling issue, plus it looked like it had been well used. Sorted the fuelling with new fuel tap & lines, plus properly adjusted the float heights. He now has a perfectly running winter hack. Well, not exactly perfect coz he has a compulsion to fit loud home made pipes on his bikes. He loves it.
16. I bet it’s a Tina Mind you, no matter what it is, I bet you get it for free, loosely assemble it, clean it & then flog it for a handsome profit.... you have got form in this regard
17. Nice to see you surrounded by all your mates
18. All their life more like !!

Funnily enough Triumph have recommended 42 rear, 34 front for both my Speedtriples..... coincide or spooky?
20. Oh you can totally kill Americans too. Straight up got a law around here called the "Make My Day" law, says you can shoot each other all you like. Or something to that effect. My green card says something about "provisional licence to kill" in the small print, I swear. With no offence to Americans, I lived and worked there for over 6 years and I know lot about it. Unfortunately their country and politics make them believe they are something special, above The ordinary people. Nothing wrong with insulting Americans, they love it, their sense of humour & appreciation of irony is legendary

Bloody indicators

Too bloody true ... Not bike related but I fixed a leaking tap today, needed to turn off the hot water isolation valve at the boiler, when I turned the valve back on it started leaking from the centre of the valve ( not its connections ) many naughty words were said & much gnashing of teeth and stomping of feet !!
23. Trouble is that the cost of a replacement is more than the bike is worth.
24. Look it up yourself you lazy twat You fooking twat .... Is Fallon Sherrock married? Fallon Sherrock's marital status is married. She has a son, Rory, born in 2014.
