  1. Hob Goblin is truly delicious The standard Ruby ale is superb, but if you like something with more of a bite, try King Goblin - it f*ckin awesome One of the things high on the agenda once all this bollox is over is taking a trip to the Wychwood brewery in the Camper van.

    GUESS WHO'S BACK

Judging by the title of the post, I thought it was the ‘Real Slim Shady’

    Close call!

My closest call was completely my fault. I was riding over Clee Hill in Shropshire, admiring the view & I missed the sudden stop of the cars in front (due to a dick head stamping on their brakes to make a junction they had missed, I was told this afterwards ), looking up I was convinced I was gonna have OVLOV printed on my head, hit the brakes, locked the front end which tucked, I stuck my right foot down & somehow kept it up and my left thigh slid down the side of the Volvo in front. I pulled over for a breather & the Volvo driver got out. I hobbled across to her ( my left thigh where I hit the car & my right knee where I put my foot down were killing ), turns out she was a district Nurse & was more concerned about my injuries. Once I managed to lie / convince her that I was ok, she joked that she would have to clean the rest of her car to match the side I’d wiped. Mind you Khama was achieved later in the day when the bike slipped off its side stand when I was taking a photo.

    The past

I know it’s a long shot, but does anyone have any pics of the ‘Doss’ Rednal, B’ham ( Fletchers Arcade ) from around 1977 Was a very popular bikers haunt.
  5. Ordered a battery online from Skyrich on Wednesday eve. Then thought I’d phone to make sure they were operating ( which they were) turned up today DPD delivery
  6. Was staying on the west coast of Scotland at Kilcreggan, BSB was on at Knockhill so booked a B&B on a farm near Sterling so we could get there early on the Sunday. It was really sunny so I sat in my shorts on the lawn having a beer & reading the paper, Missus Mickly being allergic to the sun, sat in the shade on the patio. She then commented how strange the low level mist on the lawn looked....... I Looked up from my paper & f*cking legged it, left beer and everything behind ... too late the b*stard midges had already had a good munch !! Least the sunburn I got the next day took my mind off the itching a bit
  7. Opened the garage to plug the battery minder in on the mighty Speedtriple, only to discover that I’d already done it
  8. Obviously the lack of amenities, absence of green & a squatter in V Strom form would hit the value. Around our part of Cov, about £320k
  9. Great replies I also forgot OEM ‘v’ pattern parts Wheelies Knee down Running an engine in ‘v’ not
  10. Any fule kno’s that trolling on a bike forum must take the following forms: *Kicking off the shaft ‘v’ chain debate & belittling anyone who disagrees with you point of view. *Asserting that a particular type of oil is superior/ inferior *Stating that modern bikes are too powerful for real day riding *Advanced training should be mandatory / or that it’s a waste of time. •Stating that one bike racer is / was better than another ( extra points if dead ) * Saying that a particular brand of bike is best & that Italian bikes break down, Chinese ones are just shit, Harley’s are agricultural, Suzuki’s are gay, BMW riders have beards, smoke a pipe & smell of wee...... etc etc .. Have I missed any?
  11. Don’t forget you’ve done it & go tazzing off as soon as the lockdown ends, new pads need bedding in & making sure everything is back together properly. I’d suggest writing ‘Brakes’ on a bit of masking tape & sticking it on your top yolk.
  12. Remember!! There is a difference between Vaginal fluid & Vaginal discharge. Vaginal discharge ( the yellow stuff ) should only be used for lubing your chain due to its anti fling properties I think I feel sick. Good grief, you didn’t try and eat it did you?

  16. I’d hate to disappoint you, but this is probably the only tool you’d need for a Harley & I’m not sure it’d fit Nice job by the way
  17. Sainsbury's have got some Nerf guns on sale at the moment, was thinking about getting one myself which are even safer to use than my current guns I have guns Show us your Guns & your Swans
  18. I agree with Bob on the Toolstation stuff. I’ve used it and it lays on well, oddly it comes in 400ml cans rather than the usual 500ml. Had to go and look , mine are 500ml . Here you go . https://www.toolstation.com/high-temperature-spray-paint-500ml/p64927#full-desc My bad, it’s the VHT Lacquer I got from Jawels that was 400ml
  19. Cool. Thanks !!! All my fairing ones are SS but the rest arent. I will do that today what can i do with a horribly rusty exhsust ?? Give it multiple coats of high temperature black paint . Toolstation stuff works well . Some people recommend barbecue paint but I haven't tried that . I agree with Bob on the Toolstation stuff. I’ve used it and it lays on well, oddly it comes in 400ml cans rather than the usual 500ml.
