Congrats on the pass. What is the bike you've got after passing? Didn't see it mentioned other than Sports Tourer or I am blind. When I did my Mod1 at Gateshead, the other guy from same school as I, i'm pretty sure he had the older grumpy gentleman for his assessment. Didn't take much notice, but the assessor just had a very stern face, with no reaction to the banter from any of the schools instructors. Haha, not sure if getting him would make me more or less nervous when the time comes for my Mod1. Just can't wait. Already saving for the new Rebel.

If you've ridden bikes before you'll likely fly through. As all the experience comes flooding back. Even I passed the Mod1 first time. With one minor being a bit fast on the hazard avoidance (69kmh ). Awaiting my date for Mod2.

Wasn't there a post on this forum listing a collection of loads of PDF's of manuals of various bikes/models/etc? Be they uploaded ones or links, I can't remember. ;/ I thought I had it saved in favourites but can't find it.

Not sure if it has been mentioned again or anything looked at... Locations under name as before? Or at least on the hover over-popup Is that going to be possible? I'm weird, I like to know that sort of thing.

Great review! But what do they do to my bike? How do they make it better? I will now try to purchase these two mods. Where can I find them? SBS? I heard there were other mod' that were really underated and they make your bike look sexy af! Search up @Six30 and @XTreme.

Really? Being NCL area, I am assuming you went Gateshead centre? I did my MOD1 late Oct (month ago) and there were loads of people. 4 diff schools. Each one had 4 people. 3 Examiners (that I saw), office people. The examiners were strict with themselves/people who interacted with them (mask on, keep 6 ft away etc). But the rest of us were just milling about like normal. All the masks make it all very hard for someone who relies on lip reading 99.9% of the time. I guess it is just extremely busy because of all the backlog. Now I have to wait again, mod2 was meant to be yesterday.

And Scotland are still doing them. Such a pain in the arse.

Once you've done CBT you can insure moped and ride all you like. You could then take the A1 test which lets you ride the same but without L plates. Or ride like that for 2 years, then you retake the CBT. At 19 you can take the A2 test to ride a A2 restricted bike. At 21 you can do the "A" progressive licence test, or at 24 the DAS route (which is basically the A licence in a shorter period). (it didn't let me edit my post after 5 min! )

Do your CBT and you can ride up to 125cc 14?hp moped/motorcycle. So yes, you just have to do the CBT to ride the moped. Once you've done CBT insure moped and ride all you like. For 2 years, then you retake the CBT if you haven't done a test.

Not keen on Subscribers only area, it splits people up. Can sometimes make a forum look dead. I've seen it happen. Keeping the forum going by being a subscriber is the benefit. Friends with Benefits though... we know what position Stu is now, if it hurt last time.
