Hello, Kyle again,
I'm looking at getting a bike, but I don't know if it can be restricted or
not. Its a Kawasaki GT750 P5. Would it be possible to restrict it and if
so, can every bike be restricted!?
Thank you, Kyle.
Answers to both questions can be found here http://www.fiinternational.com/browse.asp?types=yes&type=Kawasaki

Diesel pump is BLACK not GREEN. ARGH!
f**k it!
-
That is a load of crap, I would get back in touch with someone more senior than the officers who turned up and ask since when did the police had over duties to insurance companies?
Since the last delivery of donuts.
My shoulder/neck still hurts. Must be whiplash.
That'll slow down settlement. f**k it!

The pads float as it were just barely touching the disc, ride it down a road without braking then reach back and feel. If its hot then you have a problem.
You may find it easier to stop before you do this

What bike is it too?
Kawasaki zxr400 H1

i have topped up the radiator and the problem is still there, and i do not think it is the waterpump or thermostat, can anyone help me out with finding the cause of the problem?
Does the fan cut in?

U OK?
Me? Yep
Sorry, just reread my original post and realised it didn't actually say I was in the car, which is now a write-off
Police were their usual efficient selves, turned up quite quickly and then did absolutely f**k all. "It'll be up to your insurers whether or not the lorry driver is reported" WTF!
I don't wanna have to go car hunting f**k IT!!!!

Is it 24" square, 10" deep and would protect a pc if the bike fell over?
Are PCs more fragile than pizzas?
Anyway, it was just a suggestion

Just got pushed sideways along the road by a twattish lorry driver who thinks the sequence is Signal, Move.
Here's a clue: Signalling does NOT mean you have right of way. F*cking idiot!

Ok cheers, it has had 1 owner, was owned by a motorbike school. Should this affect it?
It has full mot
Makes it FAR more likely that it's been regularly serviced.

Any ideas from the wise of this forum?
Pizzahut and Domino's have just the thing, fits on the back of a small 125 too

Got a tax rebate. They sent me a cheque. f**k it!
Apparently I have to pay it in at a branch. WTF?!?!?!
-
If I am not mistaken the parking permit is an A6 or A5 size, so a bit larger than a tax disc. Any more suggestions?
Yes. Ask the council how you are supposed to display it on a bike.

VIA Rail has 50 percent off right fares now, if you book by October 19.
Is it just me?

Yeah it's adjusted all the way back on the adjusters so will be needing a new one nd was hoping to be able to buy a decent one off eBay that's a little stronger than a standard one any advice?
So long as the pitch is the same you should be fine. If it's that worn you might want to check the sprocket too.

a projector conversion with a HID kit installed would be your best bet
Except that it's (probably) illegal, and about to become definitely illegal I understand.
And judging by the number of bikes with ridiculously bright and maladjusted headlamps dazzling other road users at the moment, not before time! I for one am fed up with being temporarily blinded by selfish twats with illegal headlamps.

oh. so were they just rumors that said that the one sown in the video was temporary and that they were changing them again around new year?
Maybe. Are you sure the "rumours" were not just yet another consultation?
I seem to recall that they originally said that the offroad stuff was going back on road around October when they were intending to dumb it all down again to MCN level.
So who knows...
-
that's what it was like on my test though.
i thought they changed it to this a few months ago and then were going to change it again and make it harder this month or next?
They won't ever make it harder! All the MCN lot that passed their test years ago would whine to much... again. And we all know it's far more important to please them than it ever would be to improve the standard of training in order to reduce the KSI stats.
New Bike licencing confirmed?

How odd that so many people are so opposed to improvements in rider training and the consequent improvement in safety.
With 1 in 10 currently dead or seriously injured within the first year of passing their test, something clearly had to be done, but as usual that "something" gets dismissed as unnecessary meddling.
If my second son decides to ride he'll have to pass the new tests. At least he'll now have a better chance of surviving long enough to pass them...
