It sits unused, but looking wonderfully cleaned and serviced (thanks to me) in the work basement.

he’s paid up for parking too.

    Twat.

I would spit on it every time you go past and if you can get away with it, piss on it every now and again.

  2. I wouldn’t use just a single bolt to secure your mount to. It’ll shake and bounce all over the place.

You need at least two anchor points to keep the mount stable.

The bar above the clocks looks like a perfect place to look at mounting

  3. 2006 at the age of 35.

    CBT

    Theory

    1 hour on a 125.
    6 hours on a 500

    Test

    500 lessons was a couple a week.

I had ridden my mate’s bikes illegally for a bit when I was 14 and then 18.

I was a Driving Instructor at the time I passed my bike test.

Can’t remember how much it was but the CBT was £100 and lessons were about £20. Don’t know how much the theory and test were.

  4. Have a look at the LOMO dry bags. I think they are a better option than soft panniers.
It will sit on the rear seat sideways and not make the bike as wide as panniers. Get a set of bungees, or better still ROCK STRAPS to fix the dry bag in place.

Use your foot peg to get on and off the bike when the dry bag is on instead of struggling to fit your leg through and over the seat. The side stand will take your weight

Ha haar that made me smile.. l used to play pool 20 years ago in the local Lincoln league. A great night out and a few shiny plastic trophies.

Over Christmas when my youngest came back from uni he said he'd taken up the game. Brilliant says l let's go down the club and have a game.

Absolutely useless can't see a thing! My specs throw everything off straight and without them it's a bit of a blur...

I stopped playing just before I found out I needed to start wearing glasses. I did try a couple of times in the social club, but as you say, it’s not good with glasses.
Luckily I had lens replacement surgery 3 years ago due to having cataracts (at 50 ffs!) I don’t need glasses anymore 🙂

I practice twice a week and play on a Wednesday night now.

  6. I’ve taken up playing pool again after a 15 year lay off. Before that I played l local league pool for 20 years.

I joined a team 3 games into the winter season last year and I’m playing better than I ever did.
    Loving it!

Yes but you can get different types of raises that bolt onto them yokes.

Fully adjust (vert hor and arch) with bolts to clamp or Ones that adjust on cam lobes there are many choices for you still.

the only problem will be if there isn't enough wire or cable length to allow full lock if you have to raise them quite abit. Then less critical but will looking more like fitting ape bars on a sports bike....noice! 👍🏽🤭.

You’ve also got to think about clearance for the fairing. Those clip ons and yoke will have been designed for the fairing or vice verse.
Just bare that in mind @Simon Davey

I think after more hours in the saddle you’ll be ok. I think you are just very rusty.

  8. Grip the tank with your legs and keep your arms as relaxed as possible.
The bike will balance itself and all you need to do is push the bars to change direction.
Try to keep your forearms parallel to the road and only very lightly grip the bars (more resting your hands around).
This should improve things for you.
