I imagine the brothers were already known by the po po and they were all on first name terms.
Would be nice if we could all protect our property like that though…- 1

I mean, if it takes off eventually you'll get more stations. Like the early days of petrol, or electric.
We already have those stations, and maybe more will appear, but the amount of real estate they will need to store the tanks will be massive.
There will be a high probability that you could get to a station and there are no full tanks ready to be swapped over.
-
So every single filling station will have to stock these swappable fuel tanks?
Looks like they will take up a lot of space.
I’m all for hydrogen fuelled vehicles and always have been, but they will have to eventually make those tanks a lot smaller to make this direction for bikes more viable… -

Cleaned my bike, smothered it with AC50 and stored it away in my garage for the winter. I now have a battery optimiser; do I leave that running through this period or do I need to give it a break once in a while?
You should leave it connected permanently. The optimizer will charge and discharge the battery in a cycle and keep looping until you disconnect. This will keep the battery in tip top condition.
There should be some instructions with it -

Bet you’re glad you bought the suit.
Have you tested it in the wet yet?- 1

After reading this thread I zipped my jacket and trousers together for the first time. From a comfort point of view it made no difference but would offer better safety in a slide.
However getting them off and storing them zipped together in work has been more difficult as I've limited space and having them unzipped I stuck them in different spots in the office during the day.
Will keep zipped for now and see how it goes.
Can you get someone to video you getting in and out of your gear without you unzipping them?
I’d love to see thatP.S. You are supposed to unzip them to get them off

Do you have the Mute to go inside? This gives you an extra 5db noise reduction.
I settled on the Loop’s after trying loads and loads of different ones over the years.

You should be giving out presents to kids that come to see you in your grotto at this time of year Kevin.

I sold my Rukka suit to peepae but as I was getting it ready to go in the box the front jacket zip broke!!!
I contacted Infinity Motorcycles for some advice on where I could go to get a new zip fitted. They told me about Hill4leather. Who do repairs for Rukka. I contact them and asked for a price. £86.40 for a new zip and posted back to me. I asked for a lead time and the guy said about a week.
I contacted peepae and offered to refund him, but he was happy to wait.. with a deadline, which was understandable.
Anyway, sent the Jacket off 24 tracked last Wednesday and received it back today with a genuine Rukka zip all bonded in and the stitching is immaculate. It looks as good as it came from the factory.
I can highly recommend them for any textile or leather repairs.
1st class service and the suit is now winging its way to peepae.

As above. Big bucket of hot water and a sponge. Couple of big buckets of clean lukewarm water to rinse.
You can buy waterless wash for cleaning in between the big washes. I found this prolongs the big washes unless it gets really filthy
Here’s an example.

Go through the site though if you choose to buy from SBS

I’ve found the opposite in my town.
A lot of drivers sat doing 20 to 25 on main roads that are 30 limits.
Does my head in!
-
Just looks like it needs a good clean.
Sorry I’m not keen.
-
I can do that.
I’ll PM you.

Not waterproof. May as well chuck your money in the drain and watch the rain wash it away -

What cut is eBay taking on your Rukka suit hehe?
I sold my panniers for £275 + £25 postage and they took nearly 14% of the total.
Annoys me that I get charged a % of the postage that the buyer pays for.

E5 is the recently old 95 Ron. 5% Ethanol
They then brought out E10 - 10% Ethanol.
E10 cost the same as E5 used to do and they put E5 up. Then everything went up!I use E10 in my car but am getting less mpg now.

It’s only recently (last few years) that bike tax has started to go up.
