    Thanks, I'll go for easi-grip.

    Evo or Pro?

I prefer the look of the finer pattern on the pro, rather than the large bumps on the Evo.

Either of you tried the Pro and do they offer decent 'grip'?

    Thanks!

    The Pro.

Looking at the Evo they will damage your leathers.

    The grip will be fine.

  2. Once upon a time my insurer required me to have a ground anchor even though my bike is stored in a wooden shed that is sat on a patio!

I found this. Drilled a hole in the floor, then drilled a hole in the slab underneath and then fitted this. I can’t remember if I used a sledge hammer or mallet to drive it but I still chain the bike to it to this day along with a disc lock.

Great bit of kit for your needs.

SOLD- Givi MT505 Metro-T Tanklock Tank Bag - 5L & tanklock fitting kit for Versys 1000 2015-2017. Very good condition. A few scratches underneath from getting on and off lock.
Includes sholder strap and waterproof cover.
I found this perfect size to make sure the bars didn't hit the bag. I used to carry an AA digital tyre inflator and a stop n go repairt kit, a multi tool in one side pocket, the strap in the other, my phone in the pocket (there is a little opening at the front of the bag to fit a cable through, See pics) a strip of paracetamol, my house keys and I could squeeze a small bottle of water in the top compartment to boot.
£60 - includes 48hr tracked signed for in the UK, via Royal Mail.

  4. I have this for bike

and this one for the car originally, but swapped them round.

Both fit in my 5ltr tank bag. The AA one is a tiny bit bigger and is a bit of a squeeze but it’s more accurate being digital and auto shuts off. That’s why I swapped it to the bike.

  5. Try upping the mileage. 3000 miles a year doesn’t give you much experience every in the grand scheme of things, so this could put you at a higher risk in their eyes.
I used to put 6000 miles and then one year I automatically put in my estimated car mileage of 12000 miles and my quote actually went down by £50!

  6. It’s just one licence with different entitlements.
You accrued 3 points while on a provisional and then after you passed your A2 you gained another 3 points. This totalled 6 points within two years of passing your test.
You now have to apply for a provisional and start again.
If you passed the theory less than 2 years ago then the cert is still valid and you will only have to do the mod 1 & 2 again before the two years is up. Obviously if it longer than that or the 2 years run out while in the process of obtaining your full licence again then you will have to take the theory. I also suspect you might have to do the CBT as you need the cert number in order to book the theory.

You best bet is to speak to a riding school. They will know better than anyone on here.
