  2. 3M sticky pads? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 0846192282 Only did a quick search and these are from China. Don't know if you can get them exactly like this from the UK. if you do find any could you post up here, I could be looking for some too
  3. I've checked the fuse (15amp) and it's fine. Where to look next?
  4. I would imagine that is different as they weren't actually killed. They just died a shit long time ago.
  5. Cheers Stu. I'll have a look at that in the morning.
  6. If you find the answer stick it up here thanks.
  7. My optimiser has done this too. Couldn't recover a flat battery then with a new one green light only. Unfortunately I don't have the answer. I'm tempted to just leave it on and see what happens.
  8. I also thought that you have to provide your CBT certificate number to any insurance company if you have not passed your test.
  9. They will be strong enough, but the weakest link could be the chain.
  10. That's actually good to know. Cheers!
  11. That's true. Too much hassle for me though as the only good place that did bike leathers near me was a little launderette and that was burned down a few years ago [emoji19] Probably why it never crossed my mind.
  12. They don't look too bad for the money. The only thing that would put me off is that they don't have a 360* zip.
  13. No problem if you're not. If the weather is good I'll be doing the 46. Could hook up with you at the end of the A15 if you're coming that way or on the A46. If you come past the airport turn right just after and I can meet you at Caistor. Again, no worries if you're not going that way.
  14. Are you coming down the 46 Stu?
  15. Have a look at their terms & conditions. The vast majority state you much have held a full A licence for a min of 12 months. My local dealer also have a £1000 excess for test rides
  16. I doubt you'll get a test ride within 12 months of passing your test.
  17. My new steed. Picked her up on Saturday
  18. Looks very tidy!
  19. Is the FW injection? If so it could be the speed sensor. Mine went on a 2002F I once owned. If I recall correctly the sensor cost me £125 plus fitting costs. I had to take it to the dealers 'cos it's in a bast*rd place and I just didn't have the tools to do it.
  20. Cough viewtopic.php?t=55045
  21. The tubing is for the edge of the screen.
  22. I looks really tidy in the photo's. It's great that you are keeping her clean and tidy, but if it were me, then I wouldn't be throwing money at an older bike. You could save the money that you would spend on a re spray and go for a newer bike in a year or two. If you plan on this being a keeper, then spend the money, but if not I would just carry on looking after her as you are, bank the cash and upgrade in a year or two. Invest in some ACF50 and that will protect all your nuts and bolts. If the paint work really is bothering you then invest in an electric polishing wheel (can't remember what you call them) and get some proper paint cleaner, Polish and wax and that should bring the colour back. Maguire's brand is good.
