  1. I've been done with this one for a while now. Will have a look next year, and agree with techno.
  2. Glad you enjoyed yourself mate. I have plenty of roads to show you that are actually better than the ones we rode yesterday [emoji2]
  3. Glad to hear things are starting to come together. With your determination I can see you're going to end up where you want to be.
  4. lol What time are you there? I'll see if I can slope off for an hour. I had a great day yesterday. Met up with Shorty at Willy Woods, then to Cadwell to watch the Trackday bikes for a bit, Skeggy for fish & chips, Mablethorpe, Louth for fuel and back to the woods. Clocked about 160 miles in temperatures you normally see in July! [emoji2]
  5. What you looking at Stu? You going in the car, the weather is looking terrible on Sat
  6. Having just moved house, being on holiday and having earned shit loads of brownie. The weather looks good for tomorrow so am off out for a ride. Anyone out?
  7. I know you can ride a 50cc without L plates. I passed my driving test in '98 and used to ride a moped about 15 years ago to work and back. Best thing to do is ring DVLA for a definitive answer
  8. I think inspector gadget has better things to do You coming or what?? Moving house at the weekend. Also it's a bit from me lol
  9. I'd be careful advertising this as a 'fast paced' ride and also putting up the route.....

  17. These are cheaper than the Sidis.... Fully waterproof? No idea - ive never got them wet... lol My S-MX 6 failed after 4 months. I had worn them maybe 15 times! I noticed one day they felt a bit looser than normal when I put them on. When I got to Wiilingham Woods and dismounted I just happened to look down at my right boot and the plastic ankle mechanism that connects to the boot to give support had come away! I looked more closely and saw a washer trapped in the gap so realised the screw had vibrated loose. No access to screw head from inside as the boots interior material was covering it. Looked at the left boot and the same; screw not connected!!! Rode home and was conscious of the fact my ankles were not as protected as the should have been. I returned them to Sportsbikeshop for an exchange and upgraded to the S-MX Plus. What a difference!! Way more support but just as comfy. Check your boots Joeman and keep an eye on them. Mine could have been a one off, but I think it's a design fault.
  18. You can report the school and instructor the the DSA. Don't let them continue to take the public for a ride..... pardon the pun https://www.gov.uk/cbt-compulsory-basic ... cbt-course A bit more info here on regulations the schools have to adhere to https://www.gov.uk/motorcycle-approved- ... atb-manual
  19. 125s are notorious for not going into 1st gear easily.
  20. I would try it on first and see if it fits properly. I had an S800 once upon a time and even though it felt good at first it put pressure on my forehead and gave me headaches all the time. Personally I would keep the one you have a bit longer and wait till the winter when lids come down a bit and you might find that Shoei is in your price range

  22. Yeah, sorry I meant the copy is no good if he should need proof in the future lol
  23. DVLA won't accept copies as proof. You need the original that has all the watermarks and silver stamp etc on. People have lost their A entitlements over the years due to incompetence at the DVLA (computer says no) and I've heard that even copies of driving licences legally checked and signed by solicitors has not been enough proof, so those unfortunate people have had to take test again to acquire the category. A quick Google will bring up loads of stuff on this fiasco
  24. Agreed. First time in 8 years I've lost interest in the MCN FRR. Going all Moto has killed it.
  25. Welcome in Fay. Sorry I can't help you, but I'm sure other will be able to
