  1. So not as good as first reviewed? Would you buy them again or look for something else?
  2. Sorry to hear this. It sounds like you're very determined so you'll get there soon.
  3. lol. I'm guessing the bike is ok?
  4. I would get the examiner to send it off. You then get to keep your pass cert (which you should never lose as in the tech age is your only proof of passing). Fill the form in for change of address to your parents address and then when you actually move send off for change of address to your new address
  5. Bit inconsiderate that. You've got more chance of someone turning across your path riding on high beam as you are dazzling oncoming vehicles and they will not be able to judge your distance correctly.
  6. The only time you want to disengage the clutch is when changing gear or when you are stopping and almost stopped. If you disengage for any other reason you WILL get into trouble.
  7. The rattle could be the CCT (Cam Chain Tensioner) they are renowned for going on FI models. Just keep an eye on it as the CCT is automatic and should eventually tighten itself. If it seems to get worse/louder as you roll of the throttle over the next few weeks then take it in for them to check.
  8. I will be there on the Monday. Been invited by someone that has hospitality tickets. Don't know which team yet though. Either way, free food and drinks all day etc
  9. Bit of OCD creeping in Stan?
  10. Feel like riding tomorrow rather than watching.
  11. Nope. He's signed for LCR http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-rac ... 25356.html
  12. I might nip down to Skeggy tomorrow morning-ish. Anyone out and about up for a ride/meet?
  13. Gutted for you Stan. Don't beat yourself up mate. Good luck with the next one, I'm sure you'll nail it.
  14. Unlucky Stan. You'll get it next time!
  15. Session 3. "> Although I felt I was getting quicker, so was everyone else lol My aim of the day was build my confidence up on the corners that I feel I've lost. I wasn't the slowest out there and there were a few that definitely were not novices. I kept things within my comfort zone while I learned the track and quickly found the parts I liked and didn't like. I didn't like Barn or Charlies and feel I never got them right all day. Also couldn't always get the approach right to gooseneck. I also found out that I love left handers! I felt that I was leaning more on the right's than the left's but my tyres told me otherwise. Only 3-4 mm not used on the left, but about a cm not used on the right. I will defo be looking at going again next year. Too many bills for the remainder of this year
  16. I managed to get the fist session recorded and I have some of the 3rd session (rear facing) which I'm sorting out. Here 20 mins of your life you'll never get back. Red flagged too Two came off. No one hurt ">
  17. Great photo's Better than the one's my mate took lol I'm just sorting out video footage. The cam is fooked. Turns itself off after a couple of mins. I have no idea why it's suddenly developed this problem!
  18. Brilliant day! Couldn't have asked for better weather. We hung out with a couple of guys that we got talking to for the day which made it even better in my opinion. Waiting for my mate to send me the pics he took and I'll them up. Great shot cockercas
  19. Only me and cockercas by the looks of it Stu. See you there.
  20. Then Sportsbikeshop have a load of AVG's at discount prices at the moment http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/default ... =ML-180714
  21. yeah it will depend on who is running it and what day it is I reckon as weekends it will be a lifted limit usually they go for a 105 db limit which most bikes wont make that with a race can! It's with MSVT who own the track I think and you're right, it's 105db. I'm OK I have a standard can on.
  22. I'm riding. Only way I'll get the bike there lol. It's only about 40 mins from mine.
  23. I've got a mate coming down to spend the day. He's bringing his car so I can bring some stuff. This is my first day on my own bike and have been looking on the net for tips. I am bringing a cheapo gazebo -6' square Torque wrench and sockets - as I've read that the chain might need adjusting sometime in the day Oil - I've read that the bike may need a top up 2 jerry cans full of fuel. Louth petrol station is not too far if needs must. Tape for the indies lights and mirrors Bottles of water and food to keep hydrated and energy levels up. There is a shop at Cadwell, but it's expensive. a couple of folding chairs. Trainers - Don't fancy being in my boots all day. Pressure gauge -Tyres need to be lower for the track Pump Cash & Credit /Debit Card I can't think of anything else at the mo
