I had a micro discectomy op 2 years ago on my L5/S1 disc. That's the lowest moving disc. It had collapsed and was crushing the nerve that runs down my left leg and the pain was excruciating. Not much back pain though, only nerve pain. For 3 months before my op I was barely functioning. My day was; get up, go to work, struggle through, get home, have my tea, go to bed and try and sleep through the pain. None of the pills really helped either. Immediately after my op when I came round, the leg & foot pain had stopped. It was just a case of recovery. This took longer than I thought as I didn't really receive much aftercare only a bit of physiotherapy from the ones at my Docs (but I won't go into that) I did go to a chiropractor for a few sessions in the end and this helped. I did go see the doc about 14 months after my op to see if there was anything else that could be done as I felt things were just not right and after a quick examination she told me my muscles were in spasm and prescribed me pills. So 2 years on, I get the odd niggle now and again, but I'm back on a bike and the niggles are nothing really when I look back to before my op and actually thought my life was pretty much over and I was just barely existing.

You should be able to refuse bids if buyers have bad feedback. They tarnish bad sellers with bad feedback so as a buyer you can choose not to purchase their stuff, but as a seller you are not allowed to vet potential buyers. Now that is bullshit. I only buy on eBay via stores and not the general public.

Yeah, sorry I meant the copy is no good if he should need proof in the future lol -

DVLA won't accept copies as proof. You need the original that has all the watermarks and silver stamp etc on. People have lost their A entitlements over the years due to incompetence at the DVLA (computer says no) and I've heard that even copies of driving licences legally checked and signed by solicitors has not been enough proof, so those unfortunate people have had to take test again to acquire the category. A quick Google will bring up loads of stuff on this fiasco -
Agreed. First time in 8 years I've lost interest in the MCN FRR. Going all Moto has killed it.

I would get the examiner to send it off. You then get to keep your pass cert (which you should never lose as in the tech age is your only proof of passing). Fill the form in for change of address to your parents address and then when you actually move send off for change of address to your new address -
2002 cbr 600f sport what upgrade parts and where from?
fullscreenaging replied to vauxfan's topic in Pitstop
Bit inconsiderate that. You've got more chance of someone turning across your path riding on high beam as you are dazzling oncoming vehicles and they will not be able to judge your distance correctly. -
The only time you want to disengage the clutch is when changing gear or when you are stopping and almost stopped. If you disengage for any other reason you WILL get into trouble.

The rattle could be the CCT (Cam Chain Tensioner) they are renowned for going on FI models. Just keep an eye on it as the CCT is automatic and should eventually tighten itself. If it seems to get worse/louder as you roll of the throttle over the next few weeks then take it in for them to check. -
I have never used it before but know my son and daughter use a group on FB called Grimsby Swaps & Sales. Maybe you could look for something similar in your area.

I will be there on the Monday. Been invited by someone that has hospitality tickets. Don't know which team yet though. Either way, free food and drinks all day etc
