No! the school provide you with basic training, the instructors are there to teach you the basics and guide you how to ride safely, any instructor that bullies you into a situation should be reported as they are not doing their job to the correct standard -

Find another instructor but before you go ahead with the CBT ask to do a couple of hours tuition on a geared bike, it will cost you extra but having that tuition first will give you the chance just to concentrate on your clutch control -
seeing as the weather is looking iffy, i think the time is right to take down my old model railway layout and make plans for a new modular one

Don't buy new, get something cheap and crap looking otherwise you will lose it within a week, new and shiny are thief magnets i would spend no more than 5-800 on a bike living in London without secure storage

Use common sense, don't post pics that show landmarks or street names where you live, don't advertise when you will be away, saying thing's like you are going on holiday for two weeks, then wonder why when you come home you discover that you have been burgled

Lights done , i was lucky as i was able to wire them into the number plate light, all joints soldered and heat shrinked, and a proper auto electrical connector was used between the lights and the feed
