1. Took Bridget out for her first official ride , adjusted her brakes and lubed her chain then took her out round the local streets for ten minutes , brakes need a bit more tweeking but all is good and she pulls well good strong engine in her, only ordered the parts for the starter and a sparkplug, the sidestand will have to wait as the footrest will need changing which will need the exhaust to be removed, so for now while everything else is okay i can live without a sidestand
2. Probably an accident and the police bikes deployed to filter through traffic to the scene
3. Took a chance on having a look at Bridgets starter motor before shelling out on a new battery, and i am so glad i did, after taking it off and taking it apart one of the brushes was totally siezed and not moving, gave it a squirt with a bit of WD40 and got it moving, gave it all a good clean and a regrease fitted it back on and we now have a good strong motor and she fires up on the button quick update, found a refurb kit for the starter £25 ish, but while i'm ordering that will also order a side stand but i need to check and see if the footrest bar is the right one otherwise i will need to order one, i am starting to like this mechaning malarkey
4. As above 2T engines require an oil/petrol mix which can be premixed externally or internally as in your current case, 4T engines only require petrol in the petrol and oil seperately in the engine same as a car
5. Shiver me triggers This is becoming tedious, i enjoy a good bit of humorous banter but sadly you have neither, this forum is a great place to be a part of with some fantastic members that go out of their way to help others, and quite frankly you do not fit in this enviroment, if you want to carry on with your childish behaviour i would suggest joining another forum, it is very rare that something narks me and makes me want to comment, but for some reason you do, anyway for now the block list will do before i say something that will get me banned
6. A small cargo trailer might be best option
7. It wouldn't have been too difficult to outrun them, as soon as they crossed his path he could have quite easily opened it up and passed them on the left
8. It is possible to aquaplane across a body of water if the bike is fairly light and the speed is just right and the angle of entry is not too steep, i watched an episode of Mythbusters and they rode across a small lake on a bike
9. You just need the right bike
10. Xena is all ready now barring a good clean, Bridget on the other hand needs a bit more managed to get her running but it was a struggle and looks like she may need a new battery after all, luckily she has a kickstart, next thing will be adjusting the brakes and changing the oil in the forks as they seem to bottom out rather quickly with very little pressure, and it sounds as if there is a small leak in the exhaust which will need to done, other than that and a good clean she is all good
11. fastbob that was brilliant, nice one
12. just had to share this, brilliant piece of nostalgia
13. Reality would not exist without the dreams we used to create it
14. Richzx6r have you got a multimeter or a volt meter to take a reading of the voltage, some chargers won't charge if the voltage is too low to be recognised, it might be possible to put some charge in with jump leads from a car battery, might be worth a go if you can
15. My battery is dead as a dodo....charger been on all day and not reading anything, might be a trip to halfords to get it replaced under warranty of the battery That sucks, how old is the battery, does your charger have a decalcification option, that's the setting i initially used on Xena's battery as it was so low under 6v and seems to have fixed it
16. Lamborghini started off making agricultural equipment, it was only much later they moved into the car market https://www.lamborghini.com/en-en/brand/people/ferruccio-lamborghini
17. Clive sinclair had the right idea with the C5, just way too early in it's conception, maybe it's time it made some kind of a comeback

19. Taken the battery off Bridget and put that on the charger, still need to pick up a new sparkplug which i will do tomorrow and get some fresh fuel in her then she won't be far from ready to start riding

21. Thinking about it, these would be a great incentive to allow full licence car drivers A1 entitlement, would be the ideal solution for a lot of people for local commuting and capable of carrying a pillion
