Byway map

Stumbled across this Byway map which shows all byways available around the country, so if you fancy some green laning have alook, just be sure that the byway is suitable for all vehicles shown in green https://www.bywaymap.com/index.html

If in doubt, you could try a prepaid master card and load it up before you go
3. Still doesn't tell me the type of material, is made from polyester, nylon, canvas, rubber, wool, cotton etc Google 210D Oxford fabric and apparently it is PU coated nylon/polyester. 210 being the weight using Dernier scale. Seems suitable although I might prefer a heavier material. My current Oxford cover (brand name) is disintegrating after less than a year's use. Lightweight is good for out and about or taking with you when touring, but for me for home use, i would want something much more heavy duty, something like what the old army tents were made from, a good quality waterproofed canvas would be my go to choice, or even a marine canvas would be appropriate
4. Some interesting views, i really wish some of you could see her in person, yes she's a 125 but as a bike is so much more than your average 125 runabout that you would rag the arse off
5. He should have asked permission first, but when all said and done, he's spending his money on your property, which will save you doing any major maintenance for a few years
6. 249 dollars, think someones seen him coming
7. It is made of high quality 210D Oxford material. Still doesn't tell me the type of material, is made from polyester, nylon, canvas, rubber, wool, cotton etc
8. That's what i thought, but the op said he couldn't find the model and wanted to ID the bike , oh well at least he knows now
9. Depending on how badly dented the tank is it might be possible to have them blown out, pictures would be helpful
10. Alternatively there is this https://www.motorcyclepartswarehouse.co.uk/parts_finder/?make=37&make_label=Sinnis&model=1676&model_label=Cafe%20125&year=2016
11. CMPO also cater for a huge variety of other makes I'm sure they do but read the OP . The poster has stated the make AND the model so I'm at a genuine loss as to what they need to know . Not too sure either, but most parts suppliers just need the vehicle reg, and will bring up the exact make and model with all the necessary parts info
12. Pretty much what i'm already doing, got some nice roads around here that cover various speed limits, and some nice twisties to get some lean going
13. Don't you have a device at 311 to change out the oil and minute filings from the running in process. Probably best to get that done before you doing all them about at high rpm Going in next week for the service
14. CMPO also cater for a huge variety of other makes
15. Great if you have a tacho , have to go by engine sound and speed
16. Not had her screaming much but did manage low gear high rev's, and she seemed happy enough, nothing seemed too much, she was revvy in 3rd at 50 but still seemed as if there was a little more she could give, but at the slower speeds in 2nd she is quite responsive, also over cooked a corner and had to put in some extra lean to bring her round, not quite knee down but had a lot more lean than i usually do, so put another 30 mile on her and i think she enjoyed it
17. Try here https://www.chinesemotorcyclepartsonline.co.uk/
18. The recommended milage for the 1st service is 311, at the moment i have done 224, so pretty much 3/4's there, so running a little harder might not be too bad an idea
19. Going for a ride later, so will have a play with her, don't want to make her scream too much but will give her a good hard ride
20. At the moment during the running in period i have been taking it easy, generally changing gears as i would in a car, 1st gear to 10 mph then second to 20 and 3rd to 30 etc, but as bikes are capable of higher rpm's and mine hasn't got a tachometer fitted, what would be the general rule of thumb be as a guide to upshifting according to speed,
21. Any kind of vehicle can be used on the road as long as it meets the minimum requirements, there have been numerous road legal vehicles from armchairs to sheds and everything in between
22. couldn't find it on here, must have been another forum so found it again on YT edit: did find it, originally posted by JRH ">
23. I suppose that the bike would make a difference, but mine is only secured with 2 chains and an alarmed disc lock, trouble with insurance is there are so many variables that affect the prices, and they change monthly and are subject to statistics during the month, have a phone around and see if you can get some better deals, also worth playing them off against each other, well such and such offered me this or well so and so only want x amount for similar cover, best of luck
24. There was one a few weeks ago coming from the direction of The Raven cafe on the A41 his sidecar was a boat There's a YT clip of one being launched, iirc it was posted here sometime ago, would be handy for my fishing trips, i have an electric outboard and battery, could quite easily do the electrics to charge on the go
25. I don't have a driveway, just a footpath that goes to a secure rear garden, no issues with Bikesure, give them a try nothing to lose
