Cheers, although not particularly bothered if I pass or fail, I haven't got my MOD2 booked in so this is just a bit of a punt, If I pass then I will get my MOD2 booked for the back end of summer, I was hoping to have had it all done before my old CBT expired, but as I had to do a renewal it's given me extra time that wouldn't have had.

Probably out on Sunday, toss up between a run to the coast or do the Yorkshire dales

Had 3 and a half hours in the saddle non stop today, did the ride to the test centre took a little over 30 mins, so will allow an hour as there is some roadworks on route and early in the morning, after that I just rode around here there and everywhere did around 150 miles in total, I just started to get a bit numb a few miles from home so not bad, so at least I know I can stay seated on the bike for a few hours now, that is definitely my longest single ride without a break

Got my MOD1 next week, only doing A1 though, I know it's the same test for the full A, but doing it on my own bike rather than having the expense of using a schools bike

Maybe one day, just not possible at the moment, but for now more than happy enough to be able to get out about

Going to make the most of it today, after dinner going to do a time trial to the test centre in prep for Tuesday, then from there going to go for a ride into the peaks possibly, i will leave that open for now and see where the road takes me

No because if you read back to one of my earlier posts, I said it would be better if the school/instructor could sign you off for the A1 licence, which still makes my previous post a valid argument. Allowing car drivers to ride 125's after a more in depth type of CBT, the school/ instructor can then sign them off for their A1 licence, job sorted. The only difference is that with the other countries barring Germany you don't have form of formal training, which is stupid at best, I wouldn't suggest anyone riding without some training.
