Caught a glimpse of Mighty Trains while channel hopping this episode was on the Maharajas' Express, not sure where it was somewhere in India but there is a Temple for Rats, a huge building with large bowls full of milk and thousands upon thousands of Rats running around freely, and it gets thousands of daily visitors getting really up close and personal with them, everyday is a school day

Only advice I can offer is you cannot have too many straps and strap it with a crossover pattern ie front to back and back to front, but no idea where the best strapping points are so maybe a bit of trial and error to get the best fit.

Adaptations can be made to suit your needs and retrofitted to the majority of bikes, so don't just hold yourself back to one particular make or model. If going new speak to the dealers to see what adaptations can be done, usually helpful especially if on commission.

Hello and welcome to the world of biking, as others have said there are pro's and cons for either option. There is however the backlog depending on where you live, some areas have much longer waiting times than others, which may influence your decision regarding how soon you want to get on two wheels. The rods are easy enough to carry it's the rest of it that makes it bulky and heavy, my main tackle bag in itself is okay but then adding extras that will fit into it, then having extra luggage for clothing and food, then add in carrying a lock and chain, the weight soon adds up. Once we get into some warmer weather a lot of the clothing will be significantly reduced, it's just still a little bit nippy out on the coast especially when you're just basically sat in one place, and not moving about so much. I do think until the warmer weather arrives properly I will have to use something similar, I have a 9ft telescopic spinning rod which would be fine for some rock fishing with lures etc, and a 10ft 2pc general purpose rod that I can use for some pier or float fishing. Keeping the tackle light to a couple of rods and a minimum amount of end tackle will be the way to go for the time being, and reducing what extra clothing I take will help too. It's all about experimenting and seeing what works and finding a compromise that suits
