The flashings means error code 21, I've googled it and looks through pages of stuff and couldn't find a definite answers. You need to get yourself a Haynes manual for it or find somewhere/someone that has one you can look at, the codes will be in there. Good luck!

Beautiful weather today was going to ride down to my mums but my front tyre is almost bald so gotta get the train... f**k it!!

Spraying is the easy part it's all about the prep you will need to sand and sand and sand through different grades of paper until it's 100% smooth if you don't it'll just show scratches through the paint. You would need to use engine paint or a high temperature paint for obvious reasons. So yes it can be done but needs time and patience to get a good finish. Alternatively you could get it powder coated.

I'll echo that was good to see everyone old and new. Ride back wasn't fun got cold and wet and my crapnav decided to take me on a detour through Brandon and Thetford on windy roads in the pitch black and I couldn't see anything out my visor because of the rain, wasn't fun!! Annoying thing was It took me back onto the road I was in the first place... Eventually got home at 10.30 and went straight to bed cause I'm old.

My nomination goes to the idiotic car driver who decided to over take a lorry just after a bend with on coming traffic (me!) the lorry driver was flashing his lights like a mad man trying to warn me so I had to slam my brakes on to miss the car.. Nob.

Yeah I could meet you somewhere on the way I'm not familiar with the route so not sure where is best but I'd come through the outskirts of Chatteris on the A141 Fenland way so where ever is best to meet is good with me I'll drop you a pm with my number.

Is this happening every time or just occasionally, on my old bike I used have something similar usually rocking the bike back and forth works.

Hey guys I'm having a problem connecting to my laptop at first it worked fine but now it keeps coming up with usb driver damaged or something along them lines it basically doesn't come up so I can access any files. Luckily I have an sd card adaptor so I can get to them that way. Mounted the camera to my helmet gonna go for a ride after work

Mine turned up today, haven't had a chance to try it out yet though. Out of interest has anyone played around with the settings to get the best picture quality?

The one on the a10 bypass near Ely it's on the way to the meet, I could go a14 if Allan isn't coming as I pick him up on the way.

Both camera and card have been shipped can't wait for them to arrive Can one of you put up a step by step guide explaining what to do to set it up the best way please? Gonna get some footage with the camera, then with the tape over the mic and compare them. Been looking at mics for inside the helmet but can't find the one I'm after its basically just a mic with a big fluffy thing on the end and a cable like they use on TV but I've had no luck finding one.

I'm up for the meet next week weather permitting if anyone else is going, could meet you guys at the BP garage after I've picked up Allan if he's rebuilt his engine by then!!!

Cheers for the info bob, it definitely doesn't work when running I tried that before and ended up replacing the horn but that didn't work either so bodged it for the mot with a feed directly from the battery. I'll find the thread again so you can read what was happening viewtopic.php?f=5&t=52065&start=0 I check plugs and sprayed them with wd40 on Saturday but again that didn't help which is why I'm now going to try it out with the multimeter, let's hope this rain stops..

It's just a standard one Ian like the picture below. The engine warning light flashed a code the other day of 4-2 which is speedo error so the ecu is wondering why the engine is under strain but according to the speedo it's not moving. So that's them sorted but the horn still isn't working so I'm going to investigate when I can if the weather lets me!!!

Woops haha ordered a 32gb and asked for a refund on the 64gb I only read the bit about getting a class 10 one!

Just bought one (the first one Joe bought) and a 64gb class 10 memory card which was just under £7! Gonna try out the electrical tape over the mic "mod" if that doesn't work I'll be wiring one into my helmet directly from the camera with a plug on for easy disconnection.

I've got a short somewhere on my bike, my horn doesn't work, my speedo has stopped working and my engine warning light keeps coming on. I think they're definitely all related because they've happened one after the other. Now I've had a look at the plugs and sprayed them with wd40 but this hasn't helped so I'm going to get the multi metre out but I'm clueless when it comes to electrics so... What setting do I need the multimeter on? Do I test the wires one side of the plug then the other? What voltages am I looking for roughly? Any other tips? Definitely tension the chain with you on the bike, if it feels about right without you on the bike then it's probably too tight. When you sit on the bike the rear wheel shifts backwards therefore putting more strain on the chain. Also you're better off changing the oil rather than topping it up.

Sounds like the throttle cable is too tight. Rather you thN me with the blow torch in the engine!!!

Just read the previous thread and no one mentioned the battery... What condition is that in? Check the voltage of it with the bike off and then on if you can keep it running or get it running!

On the website it's just called "plug, drain" but it's the same as a sump plug it holds the oil in just a stupid version it should never have sheared off! Here's a diagram of the setup Joe
