  1. You'll be waiting for a long time they don't come up very often, how would I know? I watched NSR parts on eBay for a good few years whilst I owned one. As Alex said do it yourself don't waste a stupid amount of money for something that will take you 20 minutes maximum it's litterally a few nuts at the header and you need to take the exhaust hanger off that's it, then you just do the opposite to fit the new one.
  2. Sounds like fuel starvation to me, check the petrol cap breather isn't blocked. A simple way to check this is to ride the bike until it cuts out then open the fuel cap and listen for a sharp hissing noise, if it's not that then it's probably the carbs.
  3. Chain? My bike sometimes does it but not very often.
  4. You should have a Yamaha TTR engine in there not a Honda, if it is definitely a Honda engine someone has changed it.
  5. I thought this was going to be what we all fear but I guess not which is a relief!!
  6. Here's a link to a thread about a 205cc kit someone has fitted to their WR, worth a read if you're serious about it. http://www.yamahar125.com/threads/205cc ... ress.7588/
  7. You'd need the big bore kit plus a power commander which is another £200-£300 then you'd have to get it running properly.
  8. It won't make any difference to the performance it's purely for cosmetic reasons. If you have the full system the downpipe is actually smaller than the standard one so it actually restricts the bikes top speed slightly but increases the throttle response. If you need to email/ring Arrow and get the specifics. Ps if you have the full system keep an eye on your oil it tends to disappear without you realising.
  9. Considering distilled water isn't very expensive I'd just use that, grab a funnel whilst you're out and cut a bit of the hose pipe off that'll make pouring it in easier.
  10. A mate of mine went from riding to driving, he had 8 hours of lessons and passed straight away. My misses is learning to drive and she's had 20 hours and is ready for her test and she's never been on the road before. It all depends on how you get on with the switch over, it's all the same just in different places which will probably be the hardest bit to get used too. And don't forget whilst you're in the car you can't filter!!! Don't think the examiner would be too happy with a scratched up car

    White smoke

Alex I believe he's on about the coolant reservoir, usual if the head gasket has gone the coolant bubbles.
  12. Why don't you sell them and then donate the money you make to the forum? Win win situation
  13. First thing that comes to mind would be fuses but you've changed them already.. Have you checked the connections to the battery to make sure they're tight and not corroded? Grab a multimeter and check the voltage of the battery, it should read over 13v when the bike is off.
  14. Joe is right getting that changed on the deeds would be a lot of hassle and money for a garage, probably cheaper to build your own! Why not come to a mutual agreement, you help him with his new garage and he lets you use the old one for free. That would then stand until either one of you moves out, that way no money is involved and it keeps things simple for both parties and you both benefit.
  15. Thing is no one is allowed to touch the machines hence why you have the contract, hell you can't even change a lightbulb in B&Q without having the appropriate training I kid you not.
  16. Went through all the service history and old mot's and everything matched up, I believe as Joe said someone couldn't be bothered to check the mileage. So bought the car and now I'm poor, but that means I can start saving for my big bike test now so hopefully I'll be doing that the beginning of next year can't wait!
  17. I'll be doing them in norwich as you know my mum doesn't have many tools! I've still got your number so if I do get stuck I could give you a call?
  18. Just a quick update I didn't get to do them Sunday as my feeler gauge didn't show up and I've been away so it's going to be sometime at the end of the week now, I'll keep you all posted.
  19. Yes that's who they are bob I did some googling and I'm not the only one that has had that come up, according to some people when the bvrla are looking at cars they do checks and usually just out in a rough figure of the mileage which would explain that. Going to go through all the service history and mots tomorrow so if all adds up we'll be buying it, which means no big bike licence for me just yet :'(
  20. Hi guys and girls been to look at a car for the misses which is in really good condition, it's a 55 plate Ford Fiesta with 45k miles 5 doors up for sale at £1650. It has full service history and a years MOT. All seemed fine until we done a hpi check everything was okay until it came to the mileage there's a drop as seen in the picture below Any ideas what that's about? Doesn't seem like clocking as they wouldn't drop the mileage to a round figure as it would be obvious.
  21. Glad you're okay(ish) seems to be happening more and more often, drivers need to be taught to look out for bikers!!
  22. Cheers Chris I'm gonna attempt it on Sunday so hopefully all goes well! How to I adjust the cam chain if I need too?
  23. Having it written down would be easier mega then I can refer back to it. I have the manual on my phone I guess I should take a look! Also I need to ask you about making an exhaust flange but I'll pm you tomorrow with sizes etc. I've had a look for the gasket and its either the one I've put the link to or the full set..
  24. And is this the gasket I'll need to replace? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 1323156401 Bike is an 09 WR125R
