  2. On the way back from our weekend in Hereford http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/5592/dscf1427.jpg L to R Jota, Panfan, Keithg24, Houdini, Techno, Fazer Pete. In front, Liz
  3. Same here. Turned up on a Suzuki 250, rode round the block a couple of times and got my license 1st time. Tore off the L's and off i went
  4. Yes it is Caz. As the rider, you would face the same penalties as if you where drunk.
  5. Fantastic performance by Bradley. How many seconds in front, unheard of in the 125's. Rossi was superb again. Pedrosa did well considering his fitness, but won't win the title this year, or any other. He cannot race. Anytime he is in a battle he will finish second
  6. Another point about pillion. if your passenger is drunk, you can be done for aiding and abetting drink driving
  7. The issue with using the back brake for the U turn, all i'll say is thats how we teach it and it works
  8. You'll still need to be using the back brake. Your instructor will be on your case if you don't and the examiner will want to see you using it. The more you practise the correct technique the better. If you start off doing it wrong you will continue like that. If your using your own bike for the test then you will need to get it sorted, as you will need that brake in the slow ride aswell
  9. That will be why you are messing it up then. You need the back brake to keep the bike taught and working. If you don't, it will be loose and harder to control, and that is when you hit the curb. When you choose a place to practice, get off your bike and push it round first. If you can do that, you can ride it round
  10. You'll find it is probably down to your back technique being wrong. If you remember to allways drag on the back brake, have a constant throttle and control the bike on the clutch, allways keep your head up and look where you want to be and not down you should have more luck
  11. Good to meet you and Mrs Mally, cracking day out
  12. I'll be next to TC, just so he can look at a Yamaha and wish he had one
  13. Agreed Tim. It looks like it will be fairly rotten out there very soon. The Snowden web cam is very bad and the one at Bala, the wind sock is nearly pulled off the pole
  14. Seen the weather forecast, going to be a bad one. Will leave it 'till the next time
  15. Just spoken to Houdini and he is up for it. I can bring him in and anybody coming from this direction
  16. Quite a few from near that area. Regularly ride round that area with Houdini, Jota and Panfan

  18. Nearly bought one yesterday. Was trying it in the shop though and it couldn't find where i live. The mapping didn't have any of the odd numbers in my street. And my house is over a 100 years old, not a new development. Might be getting the Garmin Zumo instead as they're maps could find it. None of the other Tom Tom's could find my house either
  19. Absolutely Naz. will be special whatever the outcome
