What did you do to your bike today? (part 4)
James in Brum replied to oldgrump's topic in Motorbike Chat
I did my commmute. Need to be careful with these empty roads not to lose my licence. -
Left field suggestion. For first bike. Older than you say maybe financeable. Zzr600 I have a 1990 and I love it. I agree nakeds on motorways are harsh. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324117477303

Engine related but not bike.2strke fuel, 4strke engine?
James in Brum replied to James in Brum's topic in Pitstop
Thanks all. Just need to fix the awful squeal. There has been a suggestion by my brother in law it is the pull start spring. I have taken that off to ‘service’ if not I have no idea what it is. I do know the pull was not returning when it started so that is why I am starting there. -
My brother in law put two stroke mixed fuel into my rotavator whicb is four stroke. How much does this matter? I can dilute further but getting it out will be difficult but doable. What should I do please?

I wonder which other forum you are from? Or which member you are? Maybe XTreme can create a poll with all members active within last month and we vote who we think it is. -

46 outside diameter in my and 38 internal diameter mm. That is to screw into the pump ‘out’. I need something to reduce to 25mm ish for this hose. -

Not fit for purpose and sale of good act. Does the sale of goods act entitle you to replacement or refund in the case if not fit for purpose? -

You lot know stuff I don’t. I have tried google and eBay and failed. I want something to fit to my submersible water pump to reduce the current outlet which is 50mm with femal thread to 25mm so I can attach my hose. I cannot find something to do that. Do any of you know where I can?
-
Entirely my fault fastbob they are happy to refund or exchange.
-
I stuffed up. I did not check Bob’s link enough, mine is 600d and the chain has arrived and then I check the original listing and realise it is for E’s not D’s. asking the vendor to return or swap now. Totally my error.

I think likely will be house tasks and allotment tasks. I need to bring the rotavator home and try to diagnose and mend the problem with it too. Other than that kids etc.

Are CBTs still running?
James in Brum replied to Pbassred's topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
I’m with FallingDown I did alright on my 125 after my CBT but I was not good at the start. -
I’m not off work. Us urgent homeopaths must not stop. The homeopathy service is thinking long term like this. My employers are well aware of this
-
Alternatively people who have never exercised are taking the opportunity to and this will benefit the health service long term and as long as they maintain social distancing whilst engaging in their one exercise activity all is good. We are not in a total lock down, we need a sustainable solution because this is not going away soon. It is not going to be a case of everyone stay in and in a month it’s gone. I suspect we will need to keep going for months. I did some calculations the other day and if we can cope at this level and there are 200,000 wild cases but we need 40 million for heard immunity to have had it and we stop exponential growth that is 20 months more. lots of supposition there but i think logical thinking.

I have. A chain tool of some sorts. Will dig it out and message you with pics and see if it is the correct tool. If not yes please

Thank you all, I have bought the ones fastbob linked.
