Sold it. At least the 125. Popped an ad up on face ache a little over a week ago. No response to it so though sod it I will insure and use it. Set up insurance and messages an hour later. Young Lad and hi mates came last night with the dosh in hand. I don’t think he had ridden a gated bike before. He had no gloves so I have him an old pair. I hope he got home safely. He was being followed by his mates and told me he had ridden geared bikes but not for a while. -
I like the look of that!

I’ll give them a miss thanks

Thanks all -
Hello gang. I’m going to service my bike and I want to know where best to get the bits? I want to not spend a fortune but get quality or some compromise of the two? Haynes says to change the oil filter and the washer on the sump bolt when I do it? I might also get a new air filter or clean the one I have whilst I am at it. Appreciate your input.

Hello Where can I watch the bike racing? Tv channels? Websites etc? I do not pay for posh tv like sky.

Thinking as I rode along this morning and wondered; Is it bad for a bike to not use it's full potential? I probably spend by far the majority of my commute in the 3-7k RPM range and not pushing hard at all. I will occasionally when pulling away give it the beans but usually not. Does this do the engine/bike any harm? Should i ring its neck every now and again?

Don’t tell your cat you think a seventies pushbike outvalues him several fold!

That convo was rigged. Some people had evidently been working towards it all year. -

Anything I need to know about riding on a new tyre? -

HI both. Yes it included the tyre, them coming to my home and fixing it for me. Wheel was on the bike when they got there and is back on now they have gone but with new tyre. It meant that it could be done whilst I was at work which was important and it was flat so it meant not having to ride it flat or try to pump it up with a foot pump. Seems that I got a reasonable deal. -
I just paid 145 pounds for someone to come to my house and fit a new Michelin Road pilot 2 tyre. I needed to get it done and so don't mind that I paid it, I just want to know if I have paid for the convenience through the nose. How much do tyre changes cost? what about having it done at home?
