  1. Even better to use a pair of flipflops or crocs and have a floating toaster
  2. Despite the best efforts to stop it, you still have eejits messing with toasters.

  5. Unless they were blindfolded when they viewed the house, why would anyone complain about it? I'm.sure they saw what they were buying. Second question would be. Why do you give a f@ck about what they say? For what you say you're happy with what you did and you don't come across like a crook selling a house full of problems for someone else to deal with. Screw them. Moaning morons
  6. Make sure that any product you use on your visor won't damage the protective film they usually have. I ruined one because I wasn't aware of that film.

  8. A microfiber cloth tucked away in storage box if you have one or in your pocket will do the trick. While riding, whoever had the idea of some stupid wiper attached to the glove should be shot. They are as useful as flies on a dog. I always do a quick wipe with the palm of the glove if going below 50mph. Anything above that the wind will do it for you. Just turn the hear sideways and you will see the water run away. When stopping for a break, which should be more frequent in the rain, use the cloth to give it a proper clean.
  9. And that would stop us from spending a few months going on about it?
  10. It's like blaming a lamp post for being on the wrong place By the way @Throttled if you have a skip taking a parking space on a car park. Nothing says it needs to have lights (usually would be amber flashing light) signaling it. A car park is private property even if owned by the council or any other public entity. Only when placed on a public road where it would be occupying a traffic lane, then yes it would need proper traffic management including flashing lights at each corner and half way if more than 10m between the 2 corners. That would be the case where 2 skips are one after the other. This wouldn't apply if the skip is at a parking space on the road as long the width will not get onto the road.
  11. Don't forget a spacer between the pads. You don't want a piston to come out and spread fluid all over
  12. I don't know if that bike's front wheel will be the same as the pan. You can't remove the wheel without first taking out at least one of the calipers or the tyre will be stuck between them. And isn't a faff it's just 2 extra bolts to come out.
  13. Check of you need to remove the calipers. Most bikes you need to do it or the dial gets in the way
  14. You just loosen the 4 bolts at the end of the forks. The axle should slide out. Use a thin bar inside the right side being careful not to touch the thread if there was a volt in there. Alternatively, use the bolt to push the axle out to the left. Use a rubber mallet
  15. As @RideWithStyles says. Depends on the bike. Pics of both sides will help giving you the correct advice

    Bottom forks

You're lucky I remember seeing it

    Bottom forks

The distances should be exactly the same or the bike won't be balanced properly. There is a clip that I believe being from delboy garage explaining how to align the forks. Unfortunately for you, I can't be arsed to find that clip on yt Usually you will tighten the top of the fork at the correct position and the bottom is tighten once you have aligned the bottom of the forks with the wheel in place by plunging the front suspension a few times. It should align itself.
  18. The only way I know of is lowering the frame the seat locks into at the front. That allows the back of the seat to slot onto the lower setting
  19. Bikes are seasonal items. Buy in winter and keep it safe. You will have some nice days to ride if you don't mind the cold and you practice.
  20. All of the above.
  21. They look good. Maybe less motorway to stop them going square
  22. 12yrs? How many miles a year do you run? 100? If both are that old. Better do both. And get your phoking arse on the bike FFS

    TMBF clock

Once it's finally finished will be up to @Stu to run the auction.

    TMBF clock

Like this? Cut with a small margin (maybe 1cm either side) on the side and round at the bottom where the bolts will go
  25. That could mean the tyre is getting "dehydrated" or running dry. Check for little cracks near the rim and side wall. Might be where the pressure is going
