  1. When I went tp Paris (god's know why or what for) I got the sticker. I'm sure nobody even look at it. But for the sake of 5 euros isn't worth the risk Play attention that similar charges are spreading around Europe like wildfire. Spain is ludicrous, you need one but the Spanish system back in 2019) couldn't accept foreign plates
  2. Not the best idea. The battery on a bike usually will die pretty quickly unless you have the engine running. One of those lithium battery compressor will probably be more than enough for more than 2 tyres
  3. You really want to try Spanish roads. They are minted. All depends where in France you're going. If south near Alpes then that's the obvious choice. You really want to go there. Also depends how long your tour will last. Less is always more. Don't try to visit too many places because you will end up on the road all the time and little sightseeing. Make sure you have the ecritair (check the spelling) for major cities in France. And have a great time
  4. If your contract ended 1yr ago you're on a month to month roll contract. They have no power to keep you on a non-existing contract. You can, if you want to, write them e letter stating that you are lo longer their costumer specifying the date you want the subscription to end, as date.of cancellation of DD. They will probably call you several times to offer you a new one which you're free to decline. Mobile phone rules changed some time ago and none of the operators have the power to hold anyone to the contract even if it was still running.
  5. Cancel the direct debit and they will call you in 10min
  6. On a really close look it's strange how some of the finns have come out from the spacers. You can get a brand new radiator for around 100 pounds on eBay. Got one for the own and it works perfectly even being made in china
  7. A toothpick works really well in straightening it. I would say that job takes around 10 cuppas to complete
  8. The pump I use an old Halfords one that was gifted from a friend. Bulky but fits in the pannier nicely. Wouldn't be too bothered by not having one. All cars now have them and you can get small ones with loads of pressure from china. One of these days I'll get one
  9. It's under the seat all the time.when servicing the bikes I have a quick check that the tube of glue is fine and doesn't need replacing. 2min check
  10. Years ago, back in Lisbon, I was told at a petrol station that I needed to take the helmet out before being allowed to fill up or pay before filling up. I got on the bike and went off. Next day took the car and fill it up and drove away without paying. Went back half hour later, on the bike to pay for the petrol I had put in the car. The guy wasn't impressed when I told him that just because I drive a car doesn't mean I won't drive away.
  11. I have T32 on the pan and very happy with it. Yes I ride fast at times when not touring and have no complains.
  12. Shame they lived....
  13. Keep in mind that while the engine is warming up so do the tyres.
  14. I would do it for you if I wasn't busy with loads of different things at the moment. Just for the fun of doing it
  15. Maybe venom wants to come out
  16. An electric bike that could do 250 miles on one charge and charge the battery in 15min while I stretch my legs.
  17. Found out pension bee will keep paying regardless of where I live as long I still have a bank account that they can send the money to. With a fee of 0.70% isn't too bad
  18. I would put my money in some coating that will go away as you run the bike. Maybe the exhaust spent some time in the rain and got some inside. As you run the bike it would dry out while at same time will be expelled
  19. It will help if we know what bile we're talking about For the explanation you're giving sounds like the regulator isn't doing the job properly and the battery is getting drained while you ride. Is the battery still above 12V when the bike stalls? Do you have to charge it back after? If the battery is charging properly it could be a rogue wire getting short circuit to ground while you ride and maybe cool down and doesn't short.the system after a while. Another unlikely option is some gremlins in the bike...
  20. Ferrero Rocher? Some of those chocolate boxes with rum?
  21. First check is the battery charge. Depending on what you mean by flickering it could be sign that the alternator or the voltage regulator are faulty. Flickering of the headlight could mean the corrector bridge is gone and you have a modulated current instead of continuous. Could also be a wire not connected properly and messing with the whole system.
  22. Oh no. There is a lot more 1940s and 50s bw movies. Judge Judy is probably dead by now but they keep repeating episodes all day every day. Then you have the crap movies with £3 FX and 50p actors. The list is a long as premium toilet paper rolls and worth much less
  23. What I find surprisingly idiotic is they mixing mentally challenged people in a supposed marriage and expect they can make it work.
  24. Today I want to nominate the genius who invented the show married at first sight. ABSOLUTE LEGEND!!! Reminds me why it's better to be single
  25. As much I appreciate a good reading. Without a few pics, details of the bike, etc. It's impossible to give any advice
